So does anyone here have a set of stock sedan lights for sale? I need a set or just the drivers side one.

Let me know!

Erich

I think I have the stock drivers side one. If you need it still send me a PM. I'll check for it when I get home.

i have a question for these JDM tail lights. I saw them for sale on rallitek but my question is why do they make you pick the color of your car if it just replaces your tail lights?

no no, rallitek doesn't sell these. Rallitek sells the JDM tail light garnish, which is just a plastic (?) stick-em that goes on top of your tail lights.

These are the actual tail light units.

What was the price? I can't find it.

107-029-002 on our Japanparts site links above

As with *all* Parts on our Site; we will give you a 10% Discount on parts pricing

GB: maybe able to *slightly* improve on that figure depending on how many are interested.....

Opie - Do you still have those old pictures of your tail-light's "innards" (read: wiring) ?

My JDM setup is distinctly different from yours.

The top is for marker and brake (with the high-burn element used for the latter).

The bottom is actually "blank" over on the left side (USDM driver's side), and the bottom right (JDM driver's side) carries a high-burn single-element bulb, for rear fog.

I wonder if there were production-year and/or option-level differences?

^ Strange!!!!!

Definitely differences, then!

Thanks for the cross-check! :D

Now, then, I wonder if, for you guys, enabling the rear fog isn't simply as easy as just enabling that "extra" rear wire, as-seen on the WRXs '04/'05 WRXs.... I'll put up a link to this when I get home later today, as I've performed that mod for my wife's WRX.

I think Japanparts actually sells the Blitzen model taillights, which does not have rear fog, but uses the bottom section on driver and passenger side for brakes.

It sounds like you have the standard JDM Legacy tails with fog light on bottom passenger section and no bulb on bottom driver section.

As far as I know the Blitzen models were the only ones without the standard bulbs/wiring.

^ Ah!!!!! Thank you for the clarification!!!! :D

This does indeed again beg the question, though - for those who have the Blitzen model tails, it seems that, from Opie's initial report, that there are dual-element lamps as well as an un-used high-burn wire coming from their top lamps..... This should make conversion to rear-fog extremely easy!

I think I can dig up the part numbers as Beast shipped them to me in the original boxes. I usually take pics of everything when I disassemble something, but I don't think I took any of these lights.
It is still ugly.

^ Get offa yo lazy arse and take a peek at your mad JDM-tightness, yo!!!!

I'll see if there's a part-number stamped on my set. I haven't completed their install just yet. :)

Just to clarify since the pictures and movies are gone. Are the part numbers given in the OP are for the clear/bright chrome versions of the JDM tails (as shown in the following pics)?

Is it true that these have sockets in the bottom section of both the driver and passenger side? I only ask because I have two sets of JDM tails (one set bright chrome but driver side lens is cracked, one set dark chrome) and both have only passenger side fog light in the bottom section.

The dark chrome set I have looks like this:
