ZII star specs? Those haven't been manufactured in years, I would steer clear of those. Even the ZIII I have a feeling dunlop hasn't made any in a while, so they'd be old date codes.

Falken RT660s are a good, current 200TW offering, and much cheaper than the alternatives.

Pretty sure they just dropped the star spec and it's now called the drizerra z3 or z4. Can't remember off hand but they don't seem to have the same following, I think just due to better stuff being out there now.

These front air dams?

G5fXaTl.jpg

100% they only fit on JDM D-F Outback bumpers.

Mmmm yea those. They look even better with a good picture. I'd love to do a jdm front end but it's so involved. One day maybe.

The Z2 is shitty in the rain but amazing in dry weather. I would not buy again.

Seems like downpipes are shooting up in price again. Guy on Facebook offering $1150 plus shipping for them but still needs to verify the stamped on codes. Have we collected them anywhere? Are they the same across all our models?

Ordered myself a new 2020 complaint helmet, kids talked me into going autox-ing with them.

HJC in matte blue metallic, I won't be first but at least I'll be stylish

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/HJC-1502-464

Now need to decide whether to order new StarSpec for Mike's old racing rims or try his old rubber they are still wrapped in.

Nice. I'm a HJC fan too. Buy a head sock (balaclava/not the dessert) as you'll sweat alot. Washing the sock is easier than the helmet. And get a helmet bag to keep it unscratched.

We just bought a 2009 Tribeca with 155K miles as a stop gap for a larger vehicle.

We'll keep our Outback Sport; I'll probably daily that and keep miles down on my LGT.

On topic:

My LGT is still in the paint shop. I drove by the other day and noticed it's been sanded so at least progress is being made.

Nice, congrats! Tribeca is way underappreciated, we bought ours brand new in 2007 and it serves us well since. Yes I had to get the HG done at 155K few years back but other than that she is a champ. 230K on it now, going strong. Went to NH and back in it, whole family and top Thule box, no problems and comfortable trip.

H6 may not be the top dog and yes I have heard the stock headers are restrictive design but she has no problems accelerating and going fast even loaded. Yours is 3.6 with modified tranny from our 2007 so should be even better in that regard.

One thing I learned about Tribeca is that she does not like to be floored like LGT, but if you keep gentle and steady on the gas she will go fast.

2007 B9 Tribeca Limited DGM - 272K

SOLD - 2010 OB 6 MT Silver - 205K

I need help confirming that this hose my pointer is on doesn't go anywhere. It is cut at a bias so I think that's an indicator. It looks like it's never had a hose clamp on it. In the diagram (30)(9) it doesn't have a dotted line going anywhere.e6706dc919e3a6c9642ccfce02cc33b0.jpge804953b75ae76e687a3d1d4834534b3.jpg

Installed an ETS FMIC and intake today, need to get re-tuned. Thinking e-tune this time, what's everyone's recommendation? FWIW, legacy ETS piping was PNP, intake I had to take the bend out of the bracket and re-bend 1" shorter. OB with subframe spacer removal. I opened up the bumper to allow more air because the OB opening is small88aa6e11a42b8c424313f0b38ef91b0e.jpgcdbd3a438866fc1a5742964945a8c4ec.jpg3abcc3ffbd571c59859627ad23cfa606.jpgc1a60c0956921d6e5a00d332d29fc064.jpg6f4d5d0b857be2a7cb9754341afff09a.jpg21ec785fca4340266514e3f0b2a336be.jpge56e9a1b42baee5d707e0f2378b40568.jpg91e552f8084776321bee91e01e2b9e27.jpg

3.5" ETS

I had a crash bar from a parts car but it didn't fit, it was close though. I'm going to use it to make a template for the brackets and build one.

I was told that but couldn't find mine last time it was off. Could only find the one on the lower cat. It is different from the other image I have and from what I can find I think they are all individual.

Hit a flooded section of road with it doing 60 and now I have fuel trim issues to hunt down
Check for a waterlogged air filter.

My Grimmspeed dry filter would get waterlogged in the rain and cause crazy fuel trim issues. It took me many months to figure itnout since it happened so infrequently. I had to add a dry sock over it to stop the issue.

It certainly looks that way but I'm not sure. Is this part of the fuel system near the tank?

Both my Dp's had the same location for the numbers. On the heatshield where the cat's are.

A bit more details on location?

Guessing either vapor line from gas tank or drain from front passenger cabin? Either way, the bias cut would not have connected to anything on that end. The other should connect to alieve an overflow condition

ETS messaged me on IG during purchase informing me this was not confirmed to fit OB. I copied my reply in case anyone was wondering what it would take to install one. If you still have subframe spacers I imagine you could skip moving the bend in the intake bracket.

Confirmed fitment on 05 outback with subframe spacer removal. Only modifications required. I had to bend the sheet metal down on the lower rad support. On the intake, I took the bend out of the bracket and bent it at 6.5" from the tube and I had to install the filter onto the tube 1" further than the shoulder inside the filter to clear the wheel well liner/bumper support. The 45° silicone over the battery was a bit off but not too bad. I kept my fogs and trimmed the backside of the bumper opening 3". Total install took approximately 6 hours including trimming the bumper and cutting it it out for more airflow. Trimmed all openings with edge seal front and back. Thanks for everything!! And good work!!
