BrandonspecB
A great project! I love its wheels! What tires are you using for your Subaru? Thanks! Tires are Federal 595RS-RRs. Car looks great! Thanks! Been a lot of work. Update: New turbo is ordered. It's on a 6-8 week lead time. Should be a better fit for 600-700 whp. Also got it with a speed sensor. The Haltech still has a few inputs I need to use up .
GipsySpec.B
That intake manifold in bright red is pure sex! great work!!
BrandonspecB
New turbo is on. 64mm compressor and 64mm turbine down from 68 and 67. Also has their UHF turbine that's supposed to decrease spool and increase flow. Spools 500 RPM sooner and still pulls hard to 7500 RPM. Just what I wanted. Have a few other things I want to do and then I want to get it on the dyno. And some pics, of course.
SAABaruu
Great build. Look forward to seeing the dyno. I really like the Xona stuff, expensive but worth the money.

BrandonspecB
Yes. Can't decide between ceramic coating or header shield.

BrandonspecB
My friend will finish welding it tomorrow. Then I'll have it all ceramic coated. And here's some pics a friend took of the car.

BrandonspecB
Thanks! Update time I guess. Exhaust is coated and installed. Link ECU is wired. Car runs great with it, but we've had snow almost everyday since I got it installed. The only time I've driven it is from the shop to home.
SoobyDoobyDoo
How are you gonna tune it? Possible dyno vid……?
BrandonspecB
Eventually it will get on a dyno.
BrandonspecB
Been getting some miles on the Link. So far not a single trigger related issue. Got some new fuel system components. If I can get some time on the car without any issues then I'll rent a dyno and put a solid tune in it. I think hardware wise there isn't anything that needs to be changed. I'm pretty happy with how it's setup. Only thing I might do is install bigger injectors.

xt2005bonbon
Duuude, it's been a year already. How's the car? Bump.
KZJonny
Re-read this because of the pure awesomeness. Curious about the switch to a Link ECU? Must be bette if you chose that route, so is the trigger issue solved with that? Given the way COBB has gone, standalones are increasingly looking like how to seriously modify even EJs now, so any information on that is useful.
