nice 60ft time! considering spool up time of the 20G!

White: strong numbers overall. It's a bitch to get the 60 foot numbers the VF40 gave us with the bigger snail. 112= making power to run 12.3's no question.

It is amazing to me also . I haven't been able to get anything better than a 2.2 or so . After my car stoped running 3 weeks ago I have had alot of time to trouble shoot any and all problems. I found that my couplers for my fmic couldn't even hold 7psi. so , I replaced the clamps with t-bolts. I also had a leaky bov at 12psi .

Slipping the clutch is the way to go. I also had massive wheel spin and oooohhh the wonderful stock clutch smell mmmmmmmm baby...lol. With a new clutch and some better tires I may get low 12's.. Good luck to everyone else.

  • 2 weeks later...
Anyone game for the WRX vs. EVO shootout at Englishtown on Oct. 14? I'm going to ask for the day off from work to go and probably race! We should get some LGTr's there to own them.

Wrx and evo comp. is great. I have had 2 friends in the last week buy evo's and trade in their sti's . My lgt will still wax there a$$. We do have our friendly smack talk and call each other out at the track. So far me 2-0 against these guys at the track of course. Lgt ftw.

bump for updated times

ok.. so there seemed to be a lot of people waiting for it to cool off to race again. But its cooler now and not many people have been racing. I live in SC so its gotten half cool. It finally got into the 50's tonight but I am working. Which is why I cant race much at all cause I work at night, so it really sucks. So anyways, what about the rest of you cronies?? (sp)

I went to WRX Vs Evo at E-Town and competed. My 2 runs are as followed.

R/T .308

60' 1.866

330 5.425

1/8 8.430

MPH 82.41

1000 11.034

1/4 13.264

MPH 102.03

R/T -.081

60' 1.956

330 5.466

1/8 8.405

MPH 84.05

1000 10.986

1/4 13.171

MPH 104.16

Both slips say 58 degree's.

The first run the car was hot as hell though due to waiting in line forever to get in and then rushing to get to the gate then having to wait in line there fairly long.

I did smoke the Evo lined up with me though he blew up or something though because he ended with a 20 second 1/4.

The second run car was about 1/4 inch over C so I think thats why my trap speed was higher but I lost because they put up a hopped up Mustang against me with traction bars. He ended with a 12.2 but I gave him a run for a little while.

Was anyone else there? I saw Legacy GT's pulling in when I got there but didn't see any running besides me.

I didn't think I qualified because the second run I jumped the gun so I left after my second run.

I took my car to the track again tonight and there was no race gas so I had to run on 91 pump and pulled off a 12.7767 @ 111.63 17psi . This isn't my best time but considering it was on pump I was very happy. If they had race gas I am sure I would have seen a 12.5 or lower.

we took our sti to the track

and with a N00b driver (first time@ the track in this car, and its not even his)

12.5 @111

then

ran a 12.2@114mph

track closed before he could rip off the 11.9 :-p

after i re tune it

we should see 11.8-11.7's

in the 120mph range

then ill bring out the legacy and beat that :-p
