Gex
Whats the deal with the 07 front seats? How hard would it be to plug and play for my wagon? How gnarly is the alcantara? Are these the 156k mile set? I'm thinking i want some JDM Recaros here soon but maybe these might be a decent cheaper option?

They are up for sale, plug and play would require a donor passenger seat to swap bases and hinge motors with, drivers you just need the power plug and you repin it to work with your car side. When I last saw them they were pretty rough and from the pictures Kalien32 sent me after cleaning they aren't that much better. They are the 156k mile ones and it appears that it was a rough 156k miles for the interior. At least for the last owner. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B
Kalien32
Right now the 07 seats have a potential buyer... These are the most recent pictures of the driver seat (the worst one) I spent a few days cleaning it, and this is the best it will get. It looks substantially better in natural light.. but this is the best it will look.. Passenger seat is slightly better, rear seat had a car seat on it, with no protection.. so it's kinda bad too.. but driver seat givess you a good idea of the condition. http://i.imgur.com/lBXzppz.jpg http://i.imgur.com/rgzdTlk.jpg http://i.imgur.com/GWtXPLf.jpg

MTRunner
Just jdm facelift. Have the headlights ready... all I'm waiting for is my bumper to be shipped. Then paint. What headlights are these? I’d love to get black housing lights with that led strip through it for the day time running lights. Am I just seeing things, or is that strip down the center of the light resemble the LED’s in the newest generation legacy headlights?

They’ll require JDM fenders and a JDM bumper to fit.

That’s definitely more in depth than I’m looking to get into. They look sweet though!

The center strip is the city light... The pre facelift jdm lights have a city light, aswell... and they can be used with your current bumper and fenders.. Andy_Mac
I have a 09 spec b interior in mine now.. also have an 07 spec b interior sitting in my room. One of them will be for sale shortly. http://i.imgur.com/JL6e8Io.jpg http://i.imgur.com/UX2nBE8.jpg So potentially dumb question since JDM one's aren’t, but are the seatbelt bottom mounts attached to the seatrail or something on US cars? Never actually noticed the difference before. 2000 Legacy B4 RSK - SOLD 2006 Legacy BP5 GT Spec B wagon - Garage Thread 2011 VW T5 van 2.0L of turbo diesel awesomeness

Never actually noticed the difference before. Only on the 2005 passenger seats. 06-09 the passenger seatbelt is attached to the car frame. Top picture shows 09 seats with 05 base swapped... you have to swap bases to make them work in an 05 car. Bottom picture shows an 07 passenger seat before the base is swapped. You can see that there is no spot for mounting the seatbelt to the seat.
