Recommended Posts

Stay tuned for dyno results in a month.

Just ordered DW300 pump, Grimmspeed 3port and a 15+ Wrx intake that I will be hacking to fit the legacy! Of course, pictures to follow:cool:;)

Well behind the reason for getting that kit, is I want the silicone hoses.

Since I already have the Maf and cone filter setup, I can toss or sell the Wrx housing and slap my setup on that tubing. Will it create any HP? Maybe minor. But atleast it'll be done and tuned for. Not to mention cool turbo noises, if it makes any.

Already make more noise as is, can only imagine a better flowing intake sound better.

And if you are doing SD, you might as well just throw a filter on the end of the OEM intake tube....

This. Just go SD, wire in a GM IAT sensor somewhere on the cold side piping and shitcan the MAF sensor. Intake options open waaaay up after that.

Fuel pump done in under 30mins!! Super easy, over thought the process. Once I looked at the how to, I know exactly what to expect.

Wrx intake? Slipped on with ease. No issues on fitment or anything! Who said it didn't work?

Obviously you can't use the MAF housing, but everything else fit.

Tuning is done.

Got called in couple days earlier.

Overall, tuner was impressed with the car and was expecting less. He said the FMIC was very efficient and a TMIC would never performed the way it did.

Weather conditions, sunny, 79 degrees with 50% humidity.

Final dyno numbers was 310HP/360TQ @ 20psi

Now, the car made 322/383, but he as concern with injectors and reliability.

So overall, car is completely different. Low and mid range is strong.

December or January, I will be adding 1300CC injectors and of course, E85.

Big thanks to Evans Tuning for getting the tuned earlier then expected.
