I am between Carbide Gray and Twilight Blue and I like them both but I like the steel blue that both colors have the one thing that gets me is it seems that in certain light the twilight seems almost like a bright baby blue. sarahaf Posted January 12, 2016 Share Posted January 12, 2016 Carbide gray looks more blue in pictures than in real life. It does have a bit of blue in it, but it's subtle, IMO. You are right that the twilight looks brighter in a bright light than in other conditions. I still wouldn't call it a baby blue. It's definitely a gray blue, but there's a hint of blue/purple flash in some lights. Have you seen them in person? I went with twilight, literally, because that's what the dealer had in stock. I really wanted a color, not a grey, silver, or black. So that's what they had. I couldn't wait for factory because my old car was totaled and I was in a rental. I have grown to love the color, although I didn't love it at first (I actually thought it was too flat). Ok folks, I have to ask, what made you go with Twilight Blue? sarahaf Posted January 14, 2016 Share Posted January 14, 2016 I think these pics show carbide gray pretty accurately. It's a true grey (subtle hint of blue). Twilight blue is more elusive and looks different in different lights, harder to capture in photos.
