Yes, more sidewall. I'm looking for a more compliant ride on rougher roads. I was just hoping somebody would chime in saying 225/50 17's would work for example, which would give .5" more total sidewall. 215/55 17 is almost a full 1 inch more sidewall, so might hit the strut for example.

Trying to figure out if I can get more sidewall than stock 215/50/17. Anyone know if anything larger will fit?

2014 2.5i rolling over 93K miles any day now. No issues other than the occasional very-slight dip in RPM when coming to a complete stop. Has never stalled or done anything else strange. I'm concerned it will die at 101k and effectively total the car. Anyone know what replacement costs might run either at a dealer or aftermarket for if it fails after the 100k warranty? The car is paid off and I feel like it makes sense to try and keep driving it a while. It's 95% highway miles and will continue to be a commuter. Should I sell it at 99K miles and cut my losses?

So I have a 2014 with PE669U1 HU and an OEM camera already in place. Without the help from SVXdc, is there any way for me to upgrade to a modern head unit and not have to rewire / replace the OEM backup camera? I’d like to upgrade to a Sony XAV-AX100.

Just under 67k miles on mine and only the occasional strange surge forward when I first start braking. 35k miles on a '15 crosstrek cvt, but it behaves substantially different from the '14 legacy. No issues there either.

Is there a consensus on recommended setup for a softer more touring suspension? Not sure if mine is worn or what, but its a pretty harsh vibratey ride, especially in the back. Only had the car for a few months, '14 legacy 2.5i.

Also you paint or platidip those rims, & what color? Looks gloss black?
