discojon
New fittings are due in today already! I think I contacted all my paid orders to see if they wanted replacements... Saltysubie & discojon - would you guys like 3/8" barb 90's as well? Sure. I'll send some cash to cover shipping.

Chris GTO TT
I need a set to use with my stock lines.... Turkeylord
Hrm, that might be tough, I'd have to order 25 each straights and 90s... Maybe someone going to 1/4" would sell you their old set?

Have you test fit? Using the "new" mount (the one in the pic) for the EBCS, the side with teh BIG bleed fitting is very close to the alternator. Does the fitting hit the frame of the alt (keep in mind not everyone uses the exact proper belt and the alt could be closer or farther from the fitting depending on belt length, etc)? Just a thought. I am always bummed when the supplied straight fitting is too close to the alt for my taste.
Turkeylord
I haven't had a chance yet. Hopefully I can find a local LGT for testing.
m sprank
Gotcha. 90deg is the way to go. The straight fitting for bleed (on an LGT) forces the line into the alternator frame and then a 180. So, I deff prefer the 90 out.
Turkeylord
I'm going to test the clearance on another car tomorrow. Here it is installed on my intake manifold... http://i.imgur.com/JInb7K4l.jpg http://i.imgur.com/jZ3fLxxl.jpg Took about 6.5 inches of 3/8 fuel line from the bleed port to the turbo inlet. Looks like 3 feet of 1/4" vac line should be plenty to hit the boost nipple and WGA on the turbo.

Turkeylord
Ok, so here's the breakdown on the inlet port fittings. Option 1: Use the EBCS's stock 1/8" straight fitting. + Free - Line goes out over alternator - Line has a reducer inline (potential vacuum leak) Option 2: 1/4" 90 fitting. Add you own 1/4" vac line. + No alternator clearance issues - Need to stretch 1/4 vac line onto 3/8" inlet port Option 3: 3/8" 90 fitting. Add your own 3/8" vac (or fuel) line. + No reducer needed + No stretch needed - Fitting is bulky, may contact alternator Here's a pic I took of the EBCS with the 3/8" 90 installed on an 08+ WRX. It was resting on the alternator case. http://i.imgur.com/P4YtoQFl.jpg

Brian3676
My T's and ebcs fittings are holding strong at around 20lbs with stage 3 so far! I actually forgot to replace one of the T (my boost gauge T) and it blew off haha. Luckily I ordered an extra T and installed it! No issues since. discojon
After a much too long period of me not taking the time to install these fittings, and having difficulty in sourcing the Vacuum line, I was finally able to install the fittings, on Sunday. I have to start out by saying that TurkeyLord is a very standup guy, and I greatly appreciate his work in sourcing these and also in sending me everything I needed to review them. Sorry it took this long. Parts: 2 - 90* 1/4" fittings 2 - 180* 1/4" fittings 1 - 90* 3/8" fitting several zip ties The parts are high quality and no manufacturing defects could be identified. The threads on the fittings are clean and are tapered but i would suggest using some thread sealant when installing. The zip ties are the perfect size and strength for the kit. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/15/za9yzu9u.jpg Install: Tip: I did not remove my FMS TMIC when I did this install, however I did remove the bolt securing the Coolant Tank to Intake Manifold for some wiggle room. Begin by removing your engine cover. I cut mine down so I just have the front 2 poppits securing it. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/15/ugesujaq.jpg Locate and remove your GrimmSpeed / other EBCS. I already have removed my OEM bleed type EBCS so that isn't covered. Remove the OEM fittings and clean ports so none of the factory thread sealant enters. I used my pinky finger to remove the majority then blew all three out with compressed air. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/15/myma5ypu.jpg Apply a thin layer of Teflon tape paying attention to the direction of the threads. There are no tricks here, just be sure when you thread them in tape isn't peeling back. Twist the fittings finger tight, then use a wrench to orient them. Do not over tighten or try to bottom the fitting out. You will strip out the EBCS! Remember, these are tapered threads. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/15/jane9e4a.jpg Back to the car, I suggest removing the waste gate actuator vac line first and pulling it free, then the compressor outlet. If you plan on using the 3/8" bleed fitting remove the hose with reducer from intake. Take a length of tubing and feed it from behind the intake manifold, just below the turbo coolant return and Vent tube toward the power steering pump. The first hose you pulled will connect to the compressor outlet and the fitting labeled 3 on the GS EBCS. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/15/desabuzu.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/15/2emyta4e.jpg Repeat last step using a similar length of hose. This hose will connect to the waste gate actuator and port 2 on GS EBCS. Take a piece of 3/8" hose and run it from port on the turbo inlet tube, behind the line for the MAP sensor to Port 1 on the GS EBCS. I want to stop here and strongly suggest that you take additional Zip Ties and secure the OEM line at both ends of the MAP sensor and Intake Manifold. This line will have a tendency to pull loose due to the routing of the bleed line. Once all three lines have been run, and you have verified no contact with compressor housing, or anything sharp, secure all 6 hose ends with Zip Ties. Reinstall the Map sensor, and then EBCS bracket. The 3/8" fitting might contact your alternator, I didn't have that problem. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/15/e2epajyd.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/15/4agydana.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/15/a8avu7yg.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/15/9a5yqudu.jpg Reinstall the engine cover. Impressions: No change in spool, no over / under shooting of boost. Actual response feels smoother. Car is holding 21 lbs like a champ.
