  1. I remember washing my car and I was powerwashing. A chunk of paint went flying off. I touched up that spot before I sold the car lmao.
  2. Never needed to. The oil was coming from the headgaskets. What does that have to do with this thread? That happened over a year ago. I never said I was an expert either, I just simply agreed with another user's perspective...
  3. I had oil leaking through a seal and onto the exhaust prior to selling my Legacy. Have you checked all the areas of the engine where gaskets are located for leaks?
  4. Have you recently had the battery tested? Sometimes a battery that's going bad can cause the car to have weird things happen.
  5. Out of curiousity I checked the price for a new front emblem for my 2013 Acura RDX, and it was like $30-$35. Not too bad for my car but I agree that these parts are overpriced.
  6. Seems like you're gonna have to pay around $50 to $55. The one on ebay might be the best price for an OEM badge when considering shipping as well.
  7. We did the same thing for my 2013 Legacy when it needed a $4000 repair at only 85k miles while under the original warranty (all engine seals were replaced along with many other things). Subaru Of America payed for the whole thing, and then we sold the car right after.
  8. I had a pair of cheap $10 pair of LED Highbeams/DRLs on my Legacy before I sold it. They were incredible and worked perfecly lol. The fans worked great on them and they were bright. Personally I stick with the whitest/brightest Halogen bulbs I can find for my high beams & fog lights on my current car because I don't mind them (2013 Acura RDX). My car current car also has factory HIDs so that's not a concern for me lmao. I would however suggest putting LED bulbs everywhere else (like the interior & side marker lights, etc).
  9. They run at 100% brightness, all the time when DRLs are on.
  10. Plus running LEDs or HIDs in a HALOGEN headlight assembly will cause issues in the future... such as burnt out reflectors.
  11. LEDs are not as hot as halogen bulbs (quite less actually).
  12. I tend to hear that Akebono is near the top of the line. I'm not sure if they're the best in terms of performance/stopping power though.
  13. they actually wanted over $100??? Cost me like $8 for like 12 LEDs and 10 minutes of time to do both sets of lights on my Legacy before I sold it.
  14. Make sure you look at other trucks as well. Those 10 speeds seem to have more issues popping up as time goes on...
  15. Kwik probably just had a bad batch. Usually gas with no ethanol is said to be better for vehicles...
  16. Do you have another key that you could test out for a bit? It would allow you to see if maybe it's the key itself.
  17. That's almost exactly what mine got before I sold it. I drove it mainly to high school and on the highway a few times a week. In the winter months your gas mileage typically should go down due to many things (such as switching to a winter gas blend, tire pressures changing rapidly, your car driving at higher RPMs to warm up, etc.).
  18. Are you using cheap gas? I don't think you should be having fuel filter issues with that low of mileage.
  19. I have a 2013 RDX and it's just perfect. Obviously the newer model is probably better but I love every. single. thing. about my car.
