  1. That sucks. Hopefully the dealer will address the issue for you.
  2. Coyote, no doubt. I don't want an engine with turbos that sounds like a lawnmower and wont last nearly as long in terms of reliability.
  3. The only thing that concerns me about that vehicle is the transmission.
  4. They will always try to bargain their way out. You just have to continue to be firm about it and don't let them take the easy way out.
  5. I definitely would suggest getting that fixed will it's still free under warranty.
  6. I've heard that the Gladiator is meh. Some people say that it's lacking power, and I don't understand the point of buying one for the price...
  7. I took it as the type of car that the person who started the thread had, not specifically that vehicle only.
  8. The poll simply asked if your headgasket failed, and the thread title sounds like a more general question rather than specifically the turbo engines.
  9. My 2013 Legacy 2.5i headgaskets started to go bad at 85k miles last year. We got it repaired under warranty and then sold the car.
  10. So are you saying that you are pressing the brake while the car is off, then starting the car with your foot still on it?
  11. I've used it during the last 3 years on the last 3 vehicles I've owned and I've had no issues...
  12. On my '13 it had a compartment with rubber lining and a lid that flipped open. I did however have a US model, if that makes any difference...
  13. I agree that it should be covered under the factory warranty, especially with the extension.
  14. I had a K&N air filter on my Legacy for around a year before I sold it, and it never gave me any issues...
  15. When I had the same issue on my Legacy before I sold it, I bought the touch up kit that comes with a rust remover on top of it, so I just used that to remove the rust. Then I put a couple touches of paint and than the clearcoat.
  16. Having driven a Legacy with a CVT, it's horrible compared to a regular automatic. It jerks around and just doesn't feel right. As some of the others stated, once it dies on you it's a complete mess. It also tends to cost more to buy/replace a CVT than what the car itself is worth.
  17. You probably need resistors for them if you decide to use them.
  18. Had this happen on my 2013 Legacy a week before I sold it a year ago .
