  1. Beautiful looking car! Sounds like you'll be having fun with it lol.
  2. Have you tried pairing a different phone and testing the buttons out?
  3. To be honest neither impress me to be honest. The new BRZ looks good but I feel like it still lacks power. The Civic looks amazing, but they definitely need to add a turbo and that thing will sell like crazy.
  4. Yah I know what you mean. Ram has recently been getting my attention, especially with their TRX. I just bought my '13 Acura RDX recently and plan on driving it for a long time. It's a very fun car thus far.
  5. I'm not too familiar with them, but they are very appealing. It appears that they have a 10-speed, although I'm not sure if it's the same one that they put in the trucks. I linked the specs below if you need them. https://www.autoblog.com/buy/2021-Ford-Explorer-ST__4dr_4x4/specs/
  6. The issues have been more prevalent in the Fords (because Ford and Chevy co-developed the 10-speed). From what I've seen the dealers have tried to claim that they need a software update, but it doesn't seem to do much lol.
  7. I forgot to mention that the 10-speed automatics they've been using are starting to reveal their issues too. I can't remember if they use it in the diesels or not.
  8. I'm not sure about the diesels to be honest. If you're not gonna be using the truck for work, then why bother with the DEF fluid and high maintainence costs? Plus when you buy the vehicle brand new, you'll lose a ton of money right off the bat.
  9. You don't want to go cheap on parts that can be life/death in certain situations.
  10. Yah, always make sure the people can drive the car. The person who bought my Legacy drove the car and they literally couldn't resist the car after that lmao. The guy texted me later the same day and we got a deal done.
  11. Do you have a picture of the part of the center console that you're talking about?
  12. You'll lose a lot of money. The second they see custom parts on a car it tends to decrease your car's value. I would definitely try to sell your car privately, plus you'll get more money.
  13. Meguiar's still makes a clearcoat. I linked it below. https://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-G17804-Clear-Headlight-Coating/dp/B01M4RVVX6
  14. I tend to hear that Duralast is typically the better choice. Just make sure you buy it new. I know that at Autozone you get a lifetime warranty with a new one. I'd assume that other big auto parts stores would do the same as well. I don't know much about Bosch's alternators, but I wouldn't be too worried with them. As for the serpentine belt, I think you'd be better off doing it. It's cheap and better to get it over with while messing with the alternator.
  15. If you think the stars are alligning, then you should probably follow your gut and proceed with finding a replacement. It's happened to me with my previous two vehicles. I had a gut feeling that something was going to happen to them, but the Legacy that I used to own was the vehicle that it actually happened. Thank god Subaru covered that repair .
  16. Eh I dunno how I would feel about getting an air suspension...
