  1. It's honestly the best way to go. Granted my car still has 3 years left of payments but it was best for my situation. I plan on getting a used truck for cheap in the future to run along side my primary vehicle.
  2. I agree. I keep seeing more and more people have issues with plugs from eBay & Amazon throughout multiple forums.
  3. Sounds like a real possibilty. I guess you could try to get a used turn signal stock or new one if the price is good.
  4. Do you have halogen highbeam bulbs, or another kind of highbeam bulb installed?
  5. Amen to the blood part. Both my hands looked like the grim reaper's hands after changing those bulbs and adjusting them not once, but twice in two days since they were loose. After that experience I would've went to my mechanic to do it if I kept that car long enough...
  6. It's funny because in the next generation, they made the bulb super easy to change .
  7. I agree as well. Best bet would be to do the Meguiar's headlight cleaning solution, and then after they're clean use the Meguiar's headlight clear coat to protect it from the sun.
  8. Your car probably isn't happy with the tail light bulbs being LED. It's fine running these cars with LED license plate and LED back up lights though.
  9. They should be issuing a warranty at the bare minimum. I'm surprised they're also using a used transmission with higher mileage...
  10. I always grabbed 26 for the driver's blade and 19 for the passenger side blade when I still had my Legacy.
  11. If you don't mind me asking, which clear coat did you use? I have used Meguiar's Headlight Coating for the last 4 years over the span of three different vehicles and it works well in my case. I would imagine there are clear coats that are not good...
  12. Don't forget the headlight clearcoat to keep them clear and protected from the sun
  13. I would change them. As previously said the batteries are meant to last for around 10 years. The last thing you would want is to change the tires and then the TPMS sensors go out shortly after.
  14. Yah unfortunately those are the only two ways as far as I know. I did it by myself when I had my Legacy through the wheel fenders and that was brutal. My hands and arms were all cut up from it. From now on I just have my local mechanic do the headlight bulbs since it's so hard to do on new cars lmao.
  15. The only other way would be taking the front bumper off.
  16. My Legacy battery lasted 5 years when I still owned it. Sounds like 5-6 years is around the average.
  17. I would doubt it since it's two different sized vehicles from different generations.
  18. I know exactly what you mean. It's taking me a bit to learn this whole new layout myself
  19. My 2013 Legacy that I sold 2 years ago is still running with almost 120k miles as far as I can tell through MyCarFax. I sold it with almost 90k miles after Subaru re-sealed all the gaskets (all paid for by Subaru Of America) and it could've cost me around $3k-$4k if I wasn't still under warranty. I personally think that Subaru has fell into making junk cars with some of the worst CVT transmissions. The older Subarus seemed to have been built better.
  20. I've noticed the same thing... Pretty weird not seeing that anymore.
