  1. I mean I haven't had any issues while running only 87 octane... that's why I don't really feel comfortable going with 91/93... I did buy some Chevron Techrone though.
  2. Ya Speedway bought out a lot of different Hess gas stations as well as others. They've gotten more and more popular.
  3. What gas stations do you go to? The only "top tier" gas station near me is sunoco...
  4. My legacy has just under 84k, my mother drove it up until 82k and she never did add anything like Chevron Techron or anything lmao . I might add some soon just for the heck of it.
  5. Ya now that I think about it, I somewhat want to try running a tank full of 91/93 Octane once it's time to refill. I'm curious to say the least, but at the same time I don't know if I want to risk it... from what i've read up most people said they didn't see an improvment with anything over 87 octane and some people even said they had pinging or knocking too.
  6. My car says 87 Octane only on the inside of the gas cap. It's the 2.5 engine too.
  7. Correct me if I am wrong, but 1.0 DAM is what you're supposed to get right? And 0.4 DAM is low?
  8. Couldn't putting a higher grade gas in an 87 octane only vehicle cause issues though? Like making the engine retard its timing and such? When I had my truck and I had a tuner that was a common problem people had if they didn't do their research...
  9. I go to a cumberland farms that's near my house and it's only around a year old (was built from the ground up), so I assume the gas is high quality. From what i've read up Shell and Sunoco are the "premium" gas stations... I also recently got my oil changed at a Subaru dealership while getting a recall taken care of so I would like to think it is a high quality synthtic since that's what I always use.
  10. Hello everyone! I have a 2013 Legacy with the 2.5i premium package. I was wondering, is it a good idea to run a can of seafoam through the gas tank of my car? On my old 2002 Dodge Ram when I had it I would occcasionaly throw a can of seafoam through its gas tank and it seemed like it was helping it. Thanks!
  11. Haha no problem. Here are the bulbs I use for things like my license plate lights and such things that use the same bulb. They'll work for your trunk light if you want to use it... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073ZBNBHS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  12. Ya from the sounds of the forum I linked, that would be your best bet.
  13. I found this forum and I think it might help... : https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/2011-rear-pads-rotor-change-226465.html
  14. Ya it'll probably be a standard halogen bulb. LED probably would be better as long as it's not too expensive.
  15. Haha no problem. The trunk light assembly shouldn't be too expensive + the small 168 bulb. I personally use an LED bulb for it.
  16. The hole on the left in the first picture is where the light assembly simply twists in place (kind of like the tail light bulbs screw in and lock when twisted). The wire that is dangling on the right connects to the trunk light assembly, which screws into the whole to the left of it. Here is a link to a video showing the trunk light (Skip to 5:50): Here is a link to the light assembly on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OEM-Trunk-Courtesy-Light-Lamp-Assembly-84611GA000-for-Subaru-Sedan-1985-2018/153507958460?fits=Year%3A2013%7CModel%3ALegacy%7CSubmodel%3A2.5i+Premium%7CEngine+-+Liter_Display%3A2.5L%7CMake%3ASubaru&epid=1611310907&hash=item23bdc98ebc:g:hToAAOSwEWJc8E-G:sc:USPSFirstClass!01845!US!-1
  17. I have a 2013 Legacy and the trunk light was dangling for a while, but I twisted it back into place... For me I have a white box shaped thing with the bulb inside of it. It uses a 168 bulb. The wiring harness connects into the white box that holds the bulb.
  18. Yikes I just looked at people's reviews on them... They seem to be horrible to be honest
  19. If you don't mind me asking, what were the OEM tires that came with the 2013? I have a 2013 myself and I'm curious...
  20. Wow those wheels look amazing on the Legacy
  21. My mother had her 2013 Legacy Premium for 82K Miles, only had a headlight bulb and battery go out lol. Also had the rear brakes replaced at like 75K. Now I took over the car and it probably needs some front brakes, but it's been very reliable. It now has 83K and still drives like it's new... Your car has to be a lemon or simply was poorly taken care of before you got it...
