  1. Can't comment on the warping but they should be covered under the warranty, even if they warp again down the road at least it's free... Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  2. In the rear: open the trunk, then there is 2 Philips head screws on the side of the housings to take out then the taillights come out and you can change the bulb. Same principle as a Chevrolet pickup. On the front: if you have small hands you can reach in and twist to get the bulbs out. Passenger side you could take the airbox lid off to get more room. Drivers side might have to loosen the battery, it all depends. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  3. Added some OEM splash guards, winter wasn't kind to my paint. Thought I could get away without running them but nope. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  4. On my Canadian model it's 4 degrees Celsius, apparently that's the temperature where liquid water stops contracting and starts to expand till it eventually freezes. That's the only explanation I could find. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  5. You can turn the lane keeping function down gradually from full on to off but then it shows an annoying orange light on the dash. I have it turned down so it just beeps very quietly and nothing else, also turned off the blinking "heads up display" yellow lights. There is another 2 steps in between I believe, I'll take a pic of all the functions for you. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  6. Only test drove a 6th gen once but my 7th gen GT (XT US) limited is almost silent over new asphalt. You could whisper and still understand everything. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  7. You can change it to unlock all doors when you touch the driver's door or passenger door in the settings. Only the two front doors sense touch/ proximity. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  8. From what I've read you usually start with the dealer and if they are not being helpful then you contact Subaru directly. That usually gets the ball rolling. There are quite a few that got the windshield replaced at no cost. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  9. If mine were destroyed tomorrow, I'd get a new Jetta GLI or possibly a good used Golf R. So much more upgrade options vs the Legacy where there is literally almost nothing. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  10. Still haven't seen another turbo Legacy on the road where I live in British Columbia only one 2.5 limited. Supply doesn't necessarily mean the demand is there as well. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  11. And it continues with the bad news... Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  12. I think it's pretty random when it crashes and reboots, I had it freeze up while literally doing nothing, just the home screen. It has rebooted approximately 2 times since the 380 update in December. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  13. Heard that the reason it's delayed is because of emissions related issues. The EPA cracking down on tuning companies. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  14. Any pictures of the car lifted? I would assume you can run all the wheel and tire combinations that the Outback guys are running since it's essentially the same thing once lifted. There is a thread about aftermarket wheels and tires on SubaruOutback.org I ran the 225/55-17 in the winter with more aggressive/ chunky Firestone Winterforce tires, looks pretty cool. 15. Got my letter in Canada today but did the update myself over 3 months ago, sooooo... Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  16. There was a similar thread about this problem over at SubaruOutback.org , any winter grime/ grit on the window? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  17. Hovering around 27mpg / 8.7 litres lifetime right now with the turbo and 13000 ish km on it. The colder temperatures recently sure don't help, worst tank so far was 10.7 litres/ 100km or 22mpg but that was -30 Celsius. With summer tires and warmer weather it should pop back to the 7 litres range again. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  18. Meh, from all the complaints I only ever had the equalizer settings not retain but since 380 it just works. And the crappy windshield that cracks when a tiny pebble hits it. Coming from other car makes, Subaru people seem to be very whiney or just in love especially on the forums, not sure what that's all about... lots of crying going on at SubaruOutback.org lol. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  19. From reading and watching other car reviews it seems like all manufacturers have issues, bugs with their tech/ infotainment. So Subaru is not alone. There is a lot of complaints about the display and software but it's actually not Subaru's system, it's made by Denso. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  20. I did come within feet of hitting 2 moose at night this winter and the eye sight didn't register any of them, so driver vigilance is still required. Then again a moose at night is probably one of the hardest things to make out. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  21. Compared to my other car a 2000 Jetta TDI where the heat doesn't start to trickle in till about 15min into a drive (or only a bit if any in -30) the Legacy heater is fantastic. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  22. Totally, would of been nice if they gave the turbo models some actual sportier bits vs the 2.5. Flat bottom steering wheel, little bit firmer suspension, may I even say launch control for the fun of it haha. And traction, stability control that you can fully turn off... Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  23. Nice, what trim level is yours? Did you black out the fog light bezel or did it come like that? My limited GT has chrome around it, a bit too much chrome for my liking, might have to dip or wrap some of those strips. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  24. Kind of annoying that the traction control is still kind off on, yes. I have managed some snow drifts but it always interferes after a bit. Works the best on ice where it's overpowered haha. From my research, you have to pull a relay in the engine bay to disable the whole system. It results in your dash being lit up like a Xmas tree but you can drift. I haven't noticed any condensation in my lights but on my sister in law's brand new Honda CRV it has condensation like yours. Usually it's not from cracks but from the lens sealant letting in some moisture. You can also check if all the bulb holders sit flush and completely locked. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
