Would of loved it if there was still an actual Legacy wagon vs the Outback. But I guess with how small ish Subaru is as a company it's all about what actually sells. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

If they had a sport model with the 2.4 turbo I would of bought that one for sure, but here in Canada there isn't even a Sport trim available. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

In my area there is only one other Legacy. Driven all through my Province of BC a while ago and haven't seen another 2020+. Lots of Outbacks though. I wouldn't be surprised if the Legacy gets dropped from the lineup in the next years. Australia I think has already discontinued the Legacy beyond the 2019s. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Already has a cold air intake from the factory. Waste of money otherwise also might need a re tune which is not possible at this time. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Apparently they have a ceramic heating element to get things going more quickly. Mine is pretty warm initially when I hit the highway then once I slow down for the first town it settles into the temperature range that it's actually set at and stays there throughout the drive. My 05 GT would do the same thing but not as warm initially though. I don't mind since it dipped to -30 Celsius the last week. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

All we need after this update is full screen Android Auto and maybe the seat heater button without the sub menu, but that's about it. Fingers crossed. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Yeah got that email as well, guess we Canadians have to perform the update ourselves. We also never got the other updates earlier. Every time I went to the dealer the service guy had zero clue about an update. I don't trust them so I did it myself, piece of cake really. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Do you mean the plastic underbelly pan by the engine? It has some insulation on it but no cardboard. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Key fob remote start?

Only through the phone, no key fob remote start like the older models. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk -
It's the 380 update version for the 2020s and 980 for the 2021s that adds the stop start button to the home screen amid other changes. Subaru was just mailing out the letters beginning January 21st I believe but the update has been around for a bit. I updated mine about a month ago myself. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

After 6 months a few things that bug me....

With those gaps you must of gotten a Monday car or something, definitely not normal. That would be unacceptable for me. Also your 6 second claim is very odd, even in let's say -10 degrees Celsius weather mine does the change much quicker than that. We have some colder weather coming up so it'll be interesting. Also no rattles on mine, it's 10/19 build date and Canadian, maybe those cars were built to a better spec then the American ones. There is some differences I've noticed from reviews. You can also reboot the infotainment unit by pressing and holding the volume knob, might be worth a try if it happens again. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Happens all the time, at least before the latest update. Make your phone forget the Subaru or vice versa and it works again. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Just tried if it will automatically upshift when you don't touch the paddles in manual mode, and yes it will, once it hits redline. Although it seems to "shift" more effectively compared to the "D" mode. Come to think maybe it's a left over from the old Gen4 days when you put the transmission into manual mode and didn't shift with the buttons it would be in "sport" and shift as fast as possible by itself. Just a theory...[emoji848] Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk -

Just checked on my Canadian Harman Kardon and there is no such thing. Just equalizer and aux volume gain to play around with. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk -
Lol someone is a little cranky, got some Carlex stocks, eh? "According to court documents, Subaru issued a technical bulletin to its dealers describing the alleged defect in its windshields. Plaintiffs in the case say replacement windshields for Forester, Outback, Crosstrek, Legacy and Impreza models are not fixing the problem and contend the defect prevents "the safe and proper operation" of technology intended to prevent collisions." From living in Northern British Columbia and smashing various oem windshields over the years and the aftermarket windshields always hold up better. The pebble that cracked my 2020 almost didn't make a sound vs some bigger stones in aftermarket glass only causing a small bullseye. Head on over to subaruoutback.org to read about lots of OEM cracked windshields and then all of the sudden none when replaced with aftermarket. There is a class action law suit as well, the 2020s were just added to it. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Don't think there is such a function, yet. I just updated mine, was way easier than I thought, dealers must be total muppets to screw those updates up. Hardest part was to get that thing into "dealer mode" lol. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
