  1. I have a friend who restores corvettes, he just bought a large volume 3D printer for making reproduction parts. Only issue is, with the size, it’d have to be printed in 3-4 pieces. Could be done, but I’d also worry about flex and cracking. 3D printed material tends to be very stiff. Better off making it with a different material or like the Bayson R lips (flexible plastic). Also with the cost of material and time 3D printing one wouldn’t be cost effective. Better off molding one and making it one piece… Edit:I may be getting some fiberglass lessons later this year from said friend. If I do I’d be happy to see if I could make a mold…just couldn’t lay it in beautiful CF…. PS-digging the GN poster. I’ve got a soft spot for g-bodies.
  2. Very nice! Well done sir. The crack sucks but $&#% happens, still a very nice piece. Always awesome to get stuff that’s already paint matched!
  3. Where do the trash boxes go? I like that! Also looking at a similar rear diffuser. Don’t know that it really does anything but I like the look on the rear bumper. Looking forward to see it on the car!
  4. Is this for both? Makes sense it would be but when I look it up seems like it’s just for 1 pc…
  5. Absolutely gorgeous. Man that car is cleaner than Mr Clean! Makes me want to re-do my interior…makes me feel ashamed I let mine get to where it is now…lol. I have to ask, was the black car next to the wagon an Impreza coupe? Also was that a red Evo V lurking in the background? Brilliant cars, thank you for sharing!
  6. Oh ok…that’s odd, but I’ve learned DTCs aren’t always what they mean…. Thank you for the information!
  7. Haha “Legacy GT Road Tunes Vol 1”. Nicely done!
  8. Sorry to ask a dumb question but what was the fix?
  9. I believe the spec b hats are what is needed for the bilsteins…? Someone can correct me if I’m wrong. I believe the standard usdm top hats won’t work if converting to the bilsteins, that’s why the spec b are needed.
  10. I think it’ll be alright you can see it some but it’s not too obvious. I bought my brackets used so the paint was scratched and peeling. It needs to be stripped and re-done.
  11. Glad to help! Be curious to see if that changes anything vs stock. I’ve yet to get my rsb installed but I’m also going for the stealth look so I’m planning on painting my brackets when it gets warmer.
  12. With what you’ve said and everyone else-stay stock, stay happy. This car is plenty fun in stock form without making it a 300+ horsepower monster. That will require way more money than you’ll be able to have for a while (still there with my original project from college. I’m almost 40 now. Life happens). Plus, another thing to keep in mind: more power comes with less reliability. Maintenance costs alone to keep it up and healthy will put a strain on that $300/wk budget, along with gas. We’ve all been down this road being car enthusiasts. If you want to improve the car without compromising your engine, invest in suspension, brakes, and tires. Replacing the timing belt and other worn chassis components/wear items on a 100k car will keep that budget busy for a while. Last bit of advice: from one of then longtime members on here these cars aren’t for the faint of heart or wallet. I don’t own my car or plan on keeping it because its the reliable financially responsible choice. It can put a smile on my face anytime I drove it.
  13. Wow…thank goodness 56k is a thing of the past now. Thanks @m sprank for sharing almost 20 years of LGT greatness. Pretty awesome to see all that, even though I’m joining the party after so long. I know though that circa 2000s/ early 2010s there’s no way I could have afforded one of these lol. Still can’t but I can handle the debt better now…
  14. Avo FTW! There’s some live right now for a deal! Even with shipping it’s half the price of new: https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/o1074250065 Tried to link a pic but it was a massive fail…
  15. Man those flanges ont he exhaust are no joke! Looks super solid. Makes my oem exhaust ones look like junk…lol. Even my sti muffler ones… If I were you I’d upgrade those rear sway bar brackets sooner rather than later. Those look kinda anemic with that new sway bar on there and really seeing the stockers vs upgraded ones makes you wonder how stock ones hold that rear end together…
  16. Holy parts hoard Batman! Lol I like the shovel in the trunk too. Is that going on the car too? Also, one never needs any sort of excuse to buy carbon fiber parts…
  17. Even in that neon fast and furious lime, still love it…can I say that? Lol. That color reminds me of Paul Walkers eclipse in the first one. Getting rid of the wing does tone it down. Still a sweet car, thanks for sharing and posting! Also that’s a nice looking square body also in the shop.
  18. Lightly used and has some scratches on it but nothing major only when you really look at it up close. $75 shipped thanks for looking.
  19. At least now it’s on the migrated part of the forum and thanks to @BoozeRS05 for pinning! now it’ll be around for a while again.
  20. You sir are a rockstar!! I’m copying this and keeping it safe, thank you so much for posting this!
  21. Need Evo pictures please! And can you pls expand on “already on the way”…..? Edit: I got excited and thought you were talking about an Evo, not the fluidampr crank pulley…
  22. Haha thanks! I didn’t realize those only came on the Legacy 3.0Rs. I think you’d have to know those pretty well to discern them from WRX wheels lol. The Tribecas been a great car but it’s showing its age now….kinda bums me out, but I still love it. I’ve ust got too many cars that need too much time and work, i mean, love, lol. Would love to get the wife a new car and turn it into an off-roader. Kinda sucks thought cause there’s very little aftermarket support for that platform. I will way for a suv it’s size it does handle pretty well!
  23. How are you gonna tune it? Possible dyno vid……?
