  1. The Continental ExtremeContact DSWs have really been doing a great job, but since I'll most likely go with Costco when they are worn out, it's good to know that the PS A/S 3+ are doing well in the snow. SC
  2. And the Garand needs a new barrel. I suspected as much, but fortunately they aren't stupid expensive. SC
  3. Stage 2 and when I pulled the TMIC there was a bit of oil in the outlet area. I went with and IAG AOS. Hopefully it's not going to have an oil build up in the old side of the "cold" side of the intake. Also, at PIA, when you mention something they don't care for, they'll talk you out of it. They had no problem with the AOS. SC
  4. He is a pretty cool guy too. Glad that he wasn't hurt though. SC
  5. It seems that Nichi is no longer at Eastside. And Stealerships that can be recommended for doing the airbag recall? SC
  6. Can some one grant me $9k? https://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/cto/d/2005-subaru-legacy-gt/6719470904.html SC
  7. Ok. I think he just wasn't sure when I mentioned California. SC
  8. I have a question for some California residents. So it turns out there is a Garand in the family, but it's still in California. If life were simple we'd just ship it from FFL to FFL, and I could pick it up. However the guy at my local shop in Washington really isn't sure about what's needed to ship from CA to WA. He was also very resistant to the idea of a road trip if the M1 was not WhateverCaliforniaLabelsAsLegal. The serial number dates the M1 to 1941, and it appears to have the original stock (which the guy at the gun store asked about). Suggestions? SC
  9. It's still running rough after two years? This is having just started for me, and after swapping coil packs, and having the missing follow the coil pack, and replacing the coil pack only to still have that cylinder keep missing is frustrating! I can't image how I'd feel if I was going through it as long as you have! SC
  10. I miss BP! I'd drive the extra mile for Shell, but I'm not a fan of the +30 cents per gallon debit fee. SC
  11. Thanks for that write up about Eastside. I don't want to take my car to Walkers, and I'm unsure of Scarff. Chaplins is definitely out. Do you recall which service writer you had? SC
  12. Maybe I can say about 1 - Perhaps there is nothing you can do about the lack of rumble from the unbalanced exhaust on regular UEL header, but you could look up the Hogzawst mod, and see if that gives you something like what you're looking for. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/new-hog-zawst-system-sound-power-patented-washer-technology-35764.html? SC
  13. Yes, I was watching the boost gauge. I tried it again today, and it's close to a 0.1 drop for lows, and a 0.2 drop for highs, so flashing highs gets close to 0.3 drop in vacuum. SC

  15. Just to comment about the headlight/power usage having an effect on fuel economy. While I always drive with the headlights on, while I was burping the new radiator, I figured I'm mess with the lights, while I was monitoring the temp on the Access Port. While cycling through the assorted light settings, I watched the boost values since that should relate to economy. From the lights off, to lights on, lights on/fogs on, hi-beams on, there was a steady change in the boost value. So power drain is definitely a thing with fuel economy. SC
  16. I can't say about 1, but for 2, wouldn't you hook up your boost gauge on the intake manifold to read the manifold pressure? SC
