I don't like the stock wheels and I need to get my brakes done some time this year. Therefore I have an interest in this. So I can either do basic brakes and upgrade them later, or upgrade to Brembos at a savings. SC

That's lame! I've read too many bad reviews on SS to consider going there, but I've always heard good things about AWD. I'd suggest saving up a bit of work, if you're going to drive down to PIA, to make it worth your time. There isn't much to do down there while you wait, other than go to the library a small block away. SC

I'm not sure. I did spend a few minutes while bored out of my mind at work looking at stuff for the Fire 6 HD. Plenty of stuff came up at XDA, but I didn't look too far into the sections. I wonder if it might be too small? I didn't even know about the Samsung Tab A (Germany for now) until I came home and was going through posts at Liliputing. It just came out a couple of weeks ago. I presume it has the same hackability as any other Samsung device. Not being a Samsung user, I can't say what that is. Something else I saw at Liliputing, was a new dev board. They post them up every now and again, and they are basically Android motherboards so generic Android should run. The comments about the particular board I was looking at were strongly negative, so I didn't post a link. However, combine a dev board with a display that does fit (Xenarc?) and I would imagine you'd be good to go! Another thing I thought of, was that rather than hacking up an existing Nav bezel thingie, why not make a mold of it and then work from the mock up? Or maybe some enterprising soul could make a mold of the JDM/AVO part, then adjust it's asymmetrical RHD layout to be more LHD friendly? SC

That's what I'm thinking of doing, rather than trying to track down the JDM part. What all do you need to cut, and how much smaller is the opening compared to the JDM opening? SC

Just trying to get better economy from my Subaru, I try to keep the tires inflated to the heavy load inflation level. It would be better though if I just didn't press down so far on the pedal on the right. SC

Thanks! My Lincoln MoneyPit had 225s and it was a constant battle to keep them properly inflated to keep the treadwear even. But with my 89 Mustang, it was a battle to not blow the tires off. I miss that car. SC

I'm curious about one non-engine factor. With running that high of a tire pressure, how is your tread wear? SC

I've been trying to look this up, to not look like a Googleless tool, but... I thought that the LGTs used the VF48 and the STi used the VF52. Or was it LGT 05-07 for the VF48, and 08-09 for the VF46? SC

Well, that was unexpected...

2006 #112 is now in Seattle. I was planning to go down to the bay area and give the once over twice, but I saw the notice in the RCS facebook feed that it had been purchased and was now in Seattle.
