I guess it was yesterday, but I took it down to PIA to get the KTA124 installed. Ran it next door to BTC to get a 3 year alignment. Total cost involved was about $500 less than Regal, in Auburn wanted to do the install, and a 6 month workmanship only alignment. And Regal didn't notice that the OEM lugnuts were the wrong kind for the SSRs, so PIA hooked me up with a set of lugnuts that will seat properly. Also, after PIA finished up with the KTA, they polished my headlights! They look really nice! SC

If you don't shift with the market place you won't be in the market place. SC

Took it in for the alingment yesterday and even with the fancy bolts, they can't get the rears into spec and want to line me up with the Whiteline KTA124 and then charge me for another alignment. I can't get PIA to answer to phone to see how much it would be for them to do the work, and then I could get a 3 year alignment, next door at BTC, for less than Regal wants to charge me for the second alignment. As much as I would love to add this one to the fleet, I'll just have to share it with the others here... https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/d/auburn-2005-subaru-legacy-gt-wagon/7307782045.html SC

Spats arrived yesterday. Air Mail from Moscow is not that fast! I unpacked them, and cleaned them up this afternoon. The JDM silver seems to be fairly close to the QSM so they might not stick out like sore thumbs. They have some scuffs but I think it will be ok and I'll have them painted when I get the hood done. Otherwise, topped off the power steering and the oil. SC

How different is BSM from QSM? SC -
Did the oil change last night. I added oil a week a half ago to top it off, but draining the oil from the catch basin to a gallon jug only filled the jug half way... I've been alternating between the PureOne and the Wix. I picked the a PureOne while I was running my Friday errands since there were no Wix to be had in the county. I think I had the Wix filter that tightened up! I had to get some channel locks to twist it off. There is a whole thread about it so I doubt it would be lost to the void. SC

Since we're talking about the sticky dash issue - I the last few days, the area of the dash that's above the glove box (where I guess the airbag is) has become shiny, but it's not sticky and doesn't feel any different from any other part of the not sticky dash. Is this something different from the sticky dash that we are familiar with, or is this a variation of the sticky dash? SC
