  1. The only time I've had my hood pop on me while I was driving was because I didn't close it correctly. I would almost wonder if something is loose and causing the cable to release the latch? SC
  2. When AA was announced, I saw Subaru was listed, but later I saw Subaru wasn't. Not sure what the current state of affairs is. SC
  3. Holy Thread Bump! Any chance of the part numbers? SC
  4. ABS light came on on the way to work. My first thought was that it better not be the ABS pump/modulator! My second thought was to check if I still had a bottle of brake fluid in the car. My third thought was Part Out! I shut it down at a red light and started it back up and the ABS light went off! I checked the fluid level and the master cylinder is still quite full. I looked at the front of the pump/modulator (which is where it usually starts leaking from) and it was dry. So, I'm chalking it up to a random bad connection... SC
  5. Not familiar with any Audi stuff. But after looking it up, I'd say - NO! LOL! SC
  6. Ok. I believe the USDM turbo Legacys don't have Hill Holder either. I was hoping with those exciting roads, you might get HH on turbo models also. SC
  7. I guess it's popular to remove the chrome strip, to black out the moulding. I was thinking about removing it and replacing it with black engineers (reflective) tape. SC
  8. Plus, if you installing Brembos, don't you have to change the wheels the clear the calipers anyway? SC
  9. Makes sense. I guess I would rather have fun roads, than have cruise control. Since your Legacy is a turbo, it doesn't have Hill Holder? SC
  10. No cruise control? That's insane! I figured on of the switches was for the headlight washers, but I didn't think about a rear fog light... Thank you sir! SC
  11. Not everyone has the same needs for their cars, so different people do different things. Just because I don't understand why they do it, doesn't mean it's not worth doing. Unless it's that stupid camber BS, then there is no point to that! One of the things found in my pre-purchase inspection was that the brakes are near the end of their service life. If it's just the pads, then Great! I'll just get new pads/get the rotors turned. If it needs new rotors, then why not upgrade to better rotors? From what I've read here, the factory calipers some times don't do what they are supposed to do, and I would rather have calipers that do what they are supposed to do. If I'm going to upgrade/replace the calipers, upgrading to one of the best options for a less expensive amount than the factory option certainly seems like a good way to go. If I don't like the stock SpecB wheels, which I don't, then now would also be a good time to get rid of them, if I were to consider this particular modification. I would also say that just measuring the radius of the caliper on the mount would be the best way to determine what wheels fit, rather than trial and error. SC
  12. Nice car! So many European options on it! I like the white wheels you had from the "sliding" pictures! If I may ask, what are the two buttons on the left side of the dash, under what I presume to be the rear defroster and cruise control buttons? SC
  13. That machine shop sounds exciting in and of itself! SC
  14. Well, I do wanna put the 16 inch snowflakes on both of my Legacys. SC
  15. So, newb question here, but what is BBK? Brembo Brake Kit? SC
  16. The clear corners look great! I believe that if you go with the European glass head lights, you'll have to get the European corners also. Otherwise, this car is Gorgeous! SC
  17. I can't say for certain, but it seems the iDea is that if the stock brake calipers are not that great, and upgrading to Brembos is the best way to go, then prehaps these low cost Brembos are a more cost effective option than the regular Brembos. SC
