  1. Yay! All of my bookmarks are broken! The digests look like shit! Why are the digests from invisioncloudcommunity.com instead of legacygt.com?
  2. I guess that answers my the other issue I thought I was having.
  3. Then we'll have plenty of new problems. SC
  4. Actually on Friday, but had the brakes done, and had them look at the clutch to see if there might be a mechanical reason why it sometimes has an issue when shifting. I think the issue might be the driver though... Also found out some incredibly sad news that to me impacts the whole Subaru community in the Seattle/Tacoma area. SC
  5. So I'm wanting to get the JDM folding mirrors, and I really prefer the prefacelift style, so I was wondering if they fit without any major issues? SC
  6. I also recommend the STI swap. I don't really notice it turning better, but I do have to make a U Turn on the way to work, and with the old specB rack it usually ended up being a 3 point turn, but with the STI rack I can make it a regular U Turn with space to spare. I kept the specB pump and didn't need to switch to the STI power steering pump. You might wanna consider replacing the O Ring on the top of the pump at this point since it's probably baked and if it isn't already leaking, it's gonna start leaking soon. SC
  7. I've noticed this as well. Randomly not getting the emails for this thread, then it just starts back up. SC
  8. RainX'ed the windshield this afternoon. Should be the last time until September. SC
  9. Much like when James Dean died, many said that we lost the two best actors of the generation. So I think that when Mitsubishi killed off the Evo, that left Subaru with no real reason to continue the STi. And you could see in the last few generations of the STi. The car was getting soft, and it should have stayed a fighter. SC
  10. Did the quarterly oil change a week late as I forgot to get a filter last week. D'oh! After getting the steering rack replaced it was nice to see the undercarriage was all dry, rather than having a bit of coating of fluid. SC
  11. Didn't know how many of the slim jam nuts would be needed so I ordered 2 packs, so I have a bunch to send if someone needs them. SC
  12. Morimotos installed! It would be nice if there was a hole, in the splash guard, that lined up with the alignment screw so that you don't have to deal with pushing it out of the way to align the lights, but overall it's a fairly easy install to do. I took plenty of pictures so I'll try to write something up that will hopefully save people down the line from some of the annoyances. SC
  13. If the weather holds out and I have enough time, do I need to pull the bumper to put in the Morimoto fog lights? SC
  14. The revised STI rack - The 34110VA121 And as usual, I list what I do a day late, but did the oil change when it's 30 degrees out. Which would be great if I was in Canada! SC
  15. Yesterday the steering rack was replaced, and they noticed a ball joint was only held in by the car holding it in the control arm. So that was replaced with the rack. The following alignment has everything with in spec! With the weather we have, I haven't been able to notice the quicker steering, but the steering is definitely stiffer, as a new rack would be. SC
  16. Just watched the second part. He really dodged a bullet with the way that turbo didn't ruin the engine! SC
  17. Stumbled on it right after it was posted. He's not joining the club per se, he's fixing it and donating it before Christmas. Or so he thinks. SC
  18. A comment from solidsnake from another thread about the 120 vs 121.
  19. Good to hear! I figured I would go ahead and order it since there isn't an option at this point. SC
  20. It looks like 34110VA120 has been replaced with 34110VA121. Does anyone know if it's very different or should it be ok to go ahead and use? SC
  21. Did it a bit earlier, but ordered the Morimoto XB X Foglights and LaminX covers to add to the pile of front end parts to install during my upcoming vacation. SC
