As title states, turbo has 130k and slight shaft play, no contact with housing. Trusted seller, building another one, so more parts will be up soon! Looking at some of the aftermarket fans available for the 2.5t it seems that some use the same 4 and 5 blade for the turbo and nonturbo models. Hopefully someone knows more than me, not sure how the blade design might alter flow, but from reading it is suggested that more blades is quieter, with less flow.

Just removed my VF46 from my 08 spec-Ba. Getting ready to list it, figured I would see if anyone was looking for one first. The VF40 and VF48 turbos are interchangeable, the 48 has better flow characteristics according to subaru. Let me know if you are interested. Marck

You can change the o-ring without removing the hoses. You can rotate the oil cooler to replace. Make certain the gasket is in correctly before you torque it down. Probably won't lose much oil, but I changed mine at the same time.

Bottom is 100 percent the oil filter housing O ring. Do not tighten it up, it will probably get worse. Besides that you need to clean the motor, might be less than you think.

The first code references immobilizer function. The body control module probably needs replaced and the keys need programmed to the new BCM. The second code references the body control module. Srs codes you can clear and ignore for now. Good luck!

My buddy has a set of fans from his front clip he doesn't need (EJ207). I want to use them, but they don't look like the same blades.(cooling is 4 instead of 5, and condensor is 5 instead of 7) Is there any issue with using these on my spec B? Shrouds and electrical connectors are identical (2 wire) but most online sources say it should be a 4 wire connector? And show the same fan blades as I have (5 and 7) All help appreciated, thanks for the info!

Those 1050x's will flow more than enough for a vf52 on E85. Great combo IMO The pump is direct drop in, i believe it even includes 2 O-rings, same pump I have in my car now, make sure you buy the lower half of the fuel pump assy (fuel filter) Good luck!
