  1. No worries, we have all been there! Learned a long time ago that some things just need to be purchased ( save $$$ lol ) Good luck! Keep us updated!
  2. Time to get a new pump.. I recommend the AEM 340lph. Direct fit and flows more fuel than you need if you were installing a walbro... Good luck! Found this on NASIOC, $100 for the AEM pump https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2903728
  3. You still haven't come East yet? Lmao! Don't worry, lots of your spec B parts live on in the spirit of my car.. Been busy, Front and rear sways, shifter bushings F and R, Group N trans mount and crossmember bushings, GS master cyl brace and front pink springs. Ordered 1/4 rear lift spacers, new rear strut mounts and rubber and a new reverse cable (PO installed the short shifter...)
  4. Do you know how much heat can soak through the grimmspeed logo!!! I did the same, no real reason to do the cold side ( symmetry? ) Why does everyone use gold? The same company makes a silver one also, looks better under the hood imho
  5. 07spec that setup is solid, as long as you have good fluid you should have no issues. I am using a similar setup with Hawks also, haven't installed the lines yet, but feels better than my other LGT that had brembos. Unless you want the "look" don't bother with STI calipers, most don't need them.
  6. Been keeping track of this, My buddy at ISP says that A1 driveshaft in Baltimore makes all of his driveshafts ( steel 1 piece ) I am going to check pricing on that soon, definitely want the 1 piece, it really woke up and smoothed out my IS300 ( 2 piece also ) I got that one from DSS, but took a lot "adjustment" to not rub anything. Where in MD are you located? I am south of Baltimore.
  7. That's the fuel pump strainer ( prefilter ) That's a lot of dirt though! The actual filter is the housing the pump sits in. You have to disassemble the fuel pump assy to change it
  8. Nope, no grit or dirt that was loose in the filter, nothing in the bottom of the tank... The pump that I pulled out looked like a $15 eBay special... No markings and just a polished body. Lmao
  9. Lmao, to be honest, everybody should change theirs. My previous LGT started leaning out upper rpm on the Dyno, that's how we knew. I just replaced this one for maintenance ( and the pump ). I didn't take pictures of a filter lol, I thought about it, but it looks the same just very dark. No way to tell by look if it is good, if you get that far might as well just change it. Going to need a new front subframe, a couple of the blind welded nuts are just turning... Whomever worked on this car should have put the air tools down..
  10. Exactly, I did check the gap with feeler gauges, was .029. Filter was probably original, 180k. I love bringing these cars back to life.
  11. It is not sealed. Extract plug and replace with correct plug. OR try and remove material from the spacer to allow it to fit flush. Good luck!
  12. It would work as long as you are careful and precise. If not, will be leaking anyway. Put whiteout on the plug, then slide the gasket on top so you know where to "make adjustments" lol. If it was my engine, I would get those plugs out and replace with the correct ones. Sometimes a Torx socket grabs better than a hex.
  13. If you can't tighten down the hex anymore, might be the wrong length. I have had machine shops replace plugs with the wrong ones. It should be completely flush. Good luck
  14. I have used CSF radiators before ( not the all aluminum ones ) and they are oe equivelant. I have seen mishimoto, fitment is horrible. I had a Koyo V-flow on my 400hp legacy GT that I sold. It fit perfectly and was incredibly cool. When I need another one, I will be purchasing a Koyo again. Good luck!
  15. Been doing all the maintenance and getting parts put on as I have time. Put the fuel filter and AEM340lph pump in last week. Fuel trims improved and correction went down to ~+4. Figured I would change the plugs and put in my upgraded coils... Passenger front was SK20HR11 Passenger rear was IKH20 Driver front was LFR6AIX Driver rear was IKH20 What in the literal Fu**! Gaps ranged from .033 to .045 Just venting, Not even sure how that happens.. Lazy shops most likely... That solved my "rough" idle... Smdh Runs great now, replaced all with SILFR6A plugs ( going e85)
  16. Change the intercooler. If you are mechanically inclined, yoyou can get back together and seal.
  17. JMP helps wherever he can. But why make multiple posts? You can update the first post! What makes you think those parts are damaged? The control arm took the impact, replace the RF lower control arm and get an alignment. PERIOD! If there is an issue, the alignment will tell you. From the pics, looks like lower control arm, fairly common when you hit a curb. Good luck, if you need any more info let me know. Marck
  18. Interested, do the covers from usdm swap over? I don't want to paint them. Appreciate it, also getting ready to do the duck bill, I will hit you up.
  19. Good luck, aftermarket lights are garbage. I get what you are saying though.
  20. I have a set of 08-09 tails that are tinted (film). Fit 05-09
  21. It is rare to not find ANY boost leaks.. I had a similar issue recently, turned out to be the plenum gaskets. Egr is working correctly?
  22. Check reviews on that brand.. If it is too good to be true... Mevotech are decent, just looks like ultra power took the part number, they are not manufactured the same...
