  1. Anyone have any idea if my front airbags will still work if my seat airbag plugs aren’t hooked up? My seats are from honestly I don’t really remember believe it is a 09 outback or close to that. They are manual nonheated cloth. The airbag connectors are not the same plug. And my harness has two plugs while the seats only have 1. Then also my rear airbags are not even connected right now. They will be connected soon but still wondering if all this affects my front ones from not deploying.
  2. Thanks guys I got everything working so far besides the airbag/seat belt lights up top. Looks like the 05 has one less wire than the 07.
  3. Thanks a lot it looks like they are the same PIN number on each harness just don’t line up because of the different sizes in connectors
  4. Does anyone have the wiring diagrams for the connector that is in the passenger side a pillar that controls the lights and sunroof for 05-06 and 07-09. I looked at the vacation pics and couldn’t find the wiring diagrams. This is the last thing I have to sort out and my car is finally 100% after the manual swap.
  5. Actually if I’m not mistaken, those are also raised about 1mm up. I opened up the pic in a new tab and zoomed in to see the full resolution. It’s either sitting up or something is reflecting on it down there.
  6. I checked for burrs any it didn’t have any. I also sanded it to get really soft and the inside of the control arm to get the little bit of corrosion off of it. Still no go. But I did check the other one and it doesn’t fit flush either so I’m assuming it’s suppose to be like that? Idk lol
  7. So I was given a set of aluminum control arms for free. So might as well but them on right? Taking off one of the ball joints the metal “boss” came out with the ball joint. And pushing/hitting it back in will not make it flush with the control arm. So basically that spherical spacer/boss that goes where the ball joint bolts through. Is it suppose to be flush with the control arm? Or does it stick out bout 1-2mm. Of course the other side I didn’t have this problem and I would have to tear it back apart to check. So guess taking my shot on here to see if anyone knows or has a set laying around.
  8. Thanks guys. Ya it was a big job it wasn’t too bad but was frustrating. I did it just to do it really. My auto was slipping a little and I thought this would be a fun experiment. I did get bumped up to 298 awhp on 15 psi from 282 on 19.5psi. For whatever reason my fuel pump wasn’t keeping up. So I’m getting a revision done whenever my aem340 comes in. Tuner thinking I’d be 320-330 range which I would be extremely happy with.
  9. I don’t know the exact differences but I can at least tell you it’s pinned differently. I planned on using my 2007 throttle body when I swapped my transmission which also required a lot of wire harnesses being swapped from the 2005. Well after everything was swapped it was throwing a high output code for the tps. Swapped to the 2005 throttle body and the cel was gone. Edit: it should start if that’s all you want it to do.
  10. So after finishing my 5mt swap. Guess I should start selling some of this auto stuff. First up for grabs is a working valve body for the 5eat with the Transgo Shift Kit installed. The kit itself doesn’t have many miles on it maybe 1500-2000. The valve body I’m assuming is original so 150k on that Not sure what these go for so let’s try 500 shipped OBO (I’ll get some pictures of it later)
  11. So I believe I’m finally among the few that did an auto to manual swap. All the electrical stuff is working besides the dome, map lights, sunroof, and rear defroster. And all that is left on for those to work is find the correct pins and plug em in. The clutch has about 350 break in miles on it so far. So I got 150 to go and my tune is scheduled for the 1st.
  12. Ya I found the trigger wire for my rear parking lights. It was not pinned to the fuse box. It was connected to some other connector on the 07 rear harness
  13. Well dang that makes this even more annoying if the wiring isn’t any different lol
  14. So still playing around with the wiring issues with my auto to manual swap. Anyone have any pics of the wires on the back of the tail light housing? Apparently the 05-06 and 07 have different part numbers for their tail lights and since they are both pre facelift I can only assume it’s the orientation of the wires? Right now I have no parking lights I checked all the fuses. Tried another turn signal level and a different parking light switch above the steering wheel. Neither the front or rear one on. So I can only assume it’s slightly different wiring at the headlights and tail lights
  15. I’m looking for a rear wiring harness off of a 2005-2006 legacy gt sedan. The harness goes from the kick panel over the transmission tunnel to the other kick panel then back too the way to the taillights.
  16. Thanks for thats! Did not take a look at it but I did now. This should help me trace the brake switch wire. Sadly got to wait until the morning. As for the other connectors it would be luck trying to find those things in all these pages unless I notice something else not working
  17. Bump still nothing on these connectors. Spent the day struggling with the rear diff bolts but finally got the manual diff in.
  18. So the 07 had a single wire going from the radio area to the e brake. On this harness I don’t see anything. I also can’t get my brake light to turn off so I’m assuming the car thinks it’s on. How does the 05 manual gt have it hooked up?
  19. This one is a left over open connector from the 07 body harness. The 05 didn’t have anything matching this.
  20. Okay so this one could very well be the cig lighter connector it’s weird that the 07 has a different plug for this if that is the case
  21. Okay ya I can get some better pics after work. I can give you some idea where they are. Image 1 is right by the fuse box. Image 2 well that’s the parking brake lol image 3 is part of the wires in the center console. Image 4 is inside a cut out under the driver dash to the left. Image 5 is attached to the transmission well runs under the carpet this was part of my 07 not sure if it’s on the 05. Image 6 is attached to the radio wires looks like the parking brake wire but way too short? Image 7 is hanging to left of the steering shaft by the black box mounted on it. Image 8 is taped down on the wires going to the relay under the dash
