Yea, been to florida.....don't want to do that drive. But I do like the finger lake suggestion, as well as moving the meet each year so that the long haulers get a slight break on some of the trips in the coming years. I do want to mention that I would be open to doing a non driving trip as a group. Maybe fly somewhere and spend 4-7 days. Like skiing in Colorado, or on a beach at a resort.

This was an absolutely amazing trip! Thanks to the whole ECM crew. Good beer, lots of laughter, and even better company. You are all welcome to come stay by me if you want to come for a visit north of the border, @m sprank I got you when you come out this way . The cruise down was epic thanks for driving down and back with me @KZJonny sorry for pushing you to speed a little too much, when we did slow down on the way back my fuel consumption went way down to 7.3L/100km and I still had just under a half tank when we parted ways which is crazy considering where we stopped to fill up. It was soo good to put a username to a face and to spend time getting to know everyone that came out. Such a great group of people, I wish you all weren't so nice though since my wife is now asking about where the next one will be. My daughter will forget it all, but I will remember how you guys treated her like your own daughter, running around with her, playing catch and answering her silly questions/comments. Our Sat. afternoon cruise was soo much fun, @SubOperator your son can drive and I suspect in a few years he will be faster than you. For those I meet for the first time, and others that I had known for a while, you all made this a truly amazing experience and for that I can't thank you enough.- 807 replies

So we grabbed a Huge bag of popcorn, and two other bigger than usual bags of chips, as well as paper plates, and some cups, and 40 juice boxes. Going to stop at a store when we are driving down to pick up some sort of deserts but open to suggestions. -

Boo.... he should bring the family -
Picked up and installed a new Double din deck. Its crazy how a new deck will have your old speakers sounding better than they did before with the previous deck. Old deck was a Pioneer, new one is an Kenwood excellon ddx9903s, picked it up used as I wanted something with Android auto for the drive down to the ecm.

I'm sure we can commit to bringing some desserts, paper plates, cups, and maybe some snacks(candy, chips, popcorn) let us know if there is anything else you can think of. -
So, you want to drive your 15 year old LGT to a meet eh?

All good bud I was able to confirm even for usdm post-facelift to jdm post-facelift it doesn't really fit, some places are zip tied, and kind of tucked up under the lip to hold them in place. That person only swapped on the jdm post-facelift bumper and is running usdm fenders & headlights with usdm fender liners and under tray. -

Added a picture of where the Pre-facelift fender liner sits on jdm Post-Facelift bumper/fenders, they are just tucked into the bumper, but fastened on the inner wheel well. I usually run a skid plate but have been tweaking suspension and other thing and haven't gotten around to re-installing it. -

but you didn't do a post facelift swap, and that is what he is asking about. There is a difference between pre-facelift and post facelift but I don't recall the USDM fender liners fitting correctly since I remember loosing a fender liner after doing that swap on my first legacy. The bigger problem is when you are going from usdm pre-facelift to jdm post-facelift. As soon you swap fenders and bumper the usdm fender liners and undertray no longer fit. Now if you were going from usdm Post facelift to jdm post-facelift the fender liners and undertray may fit but I would need to check with a girl I know to see how it fits on hers and I can let you know. -

If you are even slightly lowered it will not be noticeable to oncoming traffic imo, but that could also be that my lights are aimed lower as to not blind on coming traffic as well. I would say put them on line them up and lower them just slightly with the adjustment leveling knob and you should be fine. -

I went from 07 Pre-Facelift to 08-09 JDM facelift and the fender liners and undertray from the 07 definitely did not fit correctly with the JDM Facelift fenders/bumper. It looks like from your pic you are using USDM headlights and fenders with a JDM facelift bumper, but there is a difference when running the Facelift JDM fenders/bumper -

This is correct. An alternative is to use the newer 08-14 wrx oil cooler which has slightly better clearance and moves the filter slightly further away from the header -

On the USDM to JDM front end conversion, the fender liners don't fit perfectly and the under tray does not fit. There is a slightly different shape to everything because the JDM bumper sits closer towards the front of the car. The USDM fender liners can be used but the front bottom don't line up with the bumper, and the under tray does not fit either. -

I can help with bring food down since I do have a cooler, maybe stop somewhere on the way down if need to grab things, or bring the plates, cups, cutlery or anything else that could be stored on a shelf. Only dietary restriction would be that our family does not eat pork. But good with everything else. Just let me know what I can help with/contribute. -
So after receiving my rear caliper rotors which were back ordered, I decided to finish up my rear breaks and finally swap on my summer rims & tires. The drivers side rear breaks went on easy.....the passenger side not so much. Rounded one rear caliper bracket bolt and broke the other off in the the bracket.....FML. @KZJonny came in clutch and had a spare caliper bracket and bolts that I grabbed from him last night. Car is all set now. Friday will be changing front and rear diff fluid. Rear diff is going to get re-sealed since it is leaking.
-
Picked up Transmission & rear diff oil for my only outstanding fluid change. I had also purchased a roof rack for the PA meetup so I could free up some space in the trunk. It showed up today and I wasted no time getting it installed this afternoon. Just need to pick up a few tie-down straps and I will be ready for the drive down.

Fenrir1 06' Spec B Build TBSTI Replica

The door handle trims that you have are awesome, I have never seen them done like that before. didn't even know you could separate them from the door panels. I also have carbon fiber Ebrake handle, door handles, vents, as well as the interior door open leaver/lock & steering wheel column covers, looking for the navigation/center vents in carbon fiber or faux cf just have not seen any so I may look into getting mine hydro dipped or try to find someone to overlay some carbon fiber over it. Now I did see 08-09 Albero steering wheel buttons in carbon fiber last week, but they sold for 200, and I couldn't justify spending that on buttons knowing I would need to pull my steering wheel off and rewire the buttons.
