  1. you will be getting a pm from me shortly as I have been holding off on placing bids on big things on yahoo auctions, because shipping was in the 1k for fenders bumpers & shocks. But if you can get them over on a container I would definitely be interested in placing an order for a few big items.
  2. yup Poland was one of the countries in Europe that is LHD
  3. Car looks great and following for anything I might learn from this over the course of getting this running. When you get your front bumper off, can you take a few pics of the wiring to your windshield & headlight washer reservoir. Thanks.
  4. Did you swap in a JDM reservoir and have the 3rd larger pump as well? or still have the stock reservoir? Mine did come with a relay for the headlight washer, but I will only use it if I run the pump to a separate switch or if I grab a wagon wiper arm stalk and wire it to the rear washer button. With the easiest option being to wire into the existing front washer pump. But I will keep you posted on how I do it.
  5. The stars are aligning, as we were planning to do a 3 month trip to France. From June to August..... but a friend of ours is getting married on weekend of June 23rd. So we are only going for July & August, so as long as the 2024 ECM isn't the the same weekend as the wedding we are definitely in, $200/night would probably be our limit as well.
  6. Finally got around to installing the washer headlight hoses to both headlights as well as a new to me JDM wagon washer fluid reservoir, fixed the stock line coming off of the windshield washer pump as there was a big gash in the line about 30cm from the pump. I didn't know there was a gash in the line, but I remember seeing a lack in washer fluid pressure for a little while now. I more than likely had a pin hole leak that just got bigger over the last year or two, I only really used the sprayer while I was driving and in motion. Had I used it while stopped I might have seen the issue sooner. Only think left is to wire the headlight washer pump either into the windshield washer pump so they spray together when the button is pressed or to wire an additional switch somewhere to spay the headlights.
  7. Below 350whp the stock airbox proven to work better than the aftermarket ones. so the sf intake is for the sound. It is helpful above the 350 mark as that is where the stock one becomes restrictive. Your header uppipe combo might be making less noise/sound then before if you had an uppipe with a flex section before and now are using a solid one. But I suspect the change in sound is due to the design of those UEL that you installed. Your turbo is definitely less responsive than the JMP VF52 you had, it just made less uptop than your current turbo. But if you are missing the quicker spool you definitely need to go down in size on your turbo. You could swap to an oem header with just a grimmspeed cross pipe which should move the powerband slightly to lower RPM, maybe from 3,7k to 3,5k but ultimately imo it looks like your turbo is happier in the upper rpm range
  8. I may have missed it but what did you use for the sunroof surround trim opening (rubber around the sunroof opening that attaches to the headliner)
  9. I will ask him and send you a txt when he replies
  10. Did you want me to check with zach in Cambridge to see if he has one?
  11. I can't make that drive, wish I could. Need to put aside some more money for a trip to see my great great grandma who is turning 100 in Oct. and anything extra goes into the Forester to get it fixed and up to my standards. Still needs breaks/suspension work at all 4 corners.
  12. Washed it a few days ago, and ordered a group n transmission mount, took a friend out for a drive in it and found out I can get the car sideways in first gear on dry pavement . In other news we bought a second vehicle a week ago. Ended up finding a 2011 Forester XT for 2k because it had a CEL on for cylinder 3 misfire, broken exhaust, and cracked front grill. CEL was fixed with a new spark plug & replacement coil a day after I got it home. I have a line on a sti take off exhaust and replacement grill has been ordered from Yahoo auctions, just waiting on delivery of it.
  13. I should have mentioned I had a slightly modded legacy running slipperilies, as well as some Bridgestone sport comp2's, and now currently on the pilot sport 4s in a highly modified legacy now. I daily drive my car, and will hit up a track 2 or 3 times a year when I can. Which means driving to the track and back on the same tires. You have had the Pirelli's so I won't speak to those. The Sports comp 2's were a budget tire - wore very quickly even with the higher treadwear rating, and were not confidence inspiring in the rain. Even though they have the same wet weather rating as the Pilot sport4's. I only have 7-10k on my Pilot sport 4's and this will be my first complete summer on them. After picking them up late in the season last year. IMO these are the best tires you can get before going to a dedicated track tire but I don't think you need anything like that for what you are looking for. Other tires I looked at were the Continental Extreme contact, Falken Azenis, Firestone Indy500's as well as the bridgestone Potenza's. 2 of these tires have a higher treadwear rating, 1 equal and one lower. But when reading reviews the Indy500's & Potenza they both seemed to wear much quicker than expected, which resulted in less grip sooner in the life of the tire. The Falken & Continental were either more expensive at the time or not in stock when I went to buy my tires last year but they also had good reviews.
  14. I live in Canada and those are pretty much my tire change times. Definitely see a benefit to running dedicated performance summers. Improved braking in wet & dry, as well as better grip in corners. Even on a stock car you will feel like you can push your car more than you could before. Your budget is going to determine which tires you go with, keeping in mind that treadwear should be your deciding factor on tires. Just don't buy summer slicks like R888's or NT-01 and you will be fine.
  15. This is a single zone but that isn't JDM radio, looks more EDM to me based on the fact that the hazard is on the right side of the radio, where as all JDM Hazards are on the Left side. Unless it is just an image from google of a similar radio to yours. If this is your exact radio, I would tend to agree with @stridermc you will probably need the i88 harness or need to repin your plug to get it to work. That being said there are different types of single zone controls I'm pretty sure you have the wrong one. The link below should be to what you are looking for. The issue is one is an Automatic climate control and the other is a Manual climate control. They are not interchangeable, even though they are both single zone climate controls, but relates to the type of HVAC blower that is in your car. Which is why you get power but nothing is working. https://avoturbo.com/subaru-oem-spec-single-zone-silver-av-panel/
  16. You purchased or where shipped the wrong double din kit. I your video it is displaying a single zone auto climate control. You more than likely need the dual zone auto climate control. They are not interchangeable.
  17. These are the places I found that seemed like they could fit 10-15 cars without too much disruption to the neighbors. Might need to consider that depending on headcount and who is all coming. https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/memory-lane https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/cayuga-belle https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/moxie-on-the-lake https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/hook-wine-and-sinker https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/seneca-shores https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/lakeside-station https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/the-vineyard-house-at-fox-run-vineyards https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/grande-dame https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/bonskeid-estate https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/house-of-vines https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/fossil-beach https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/captains-hideaway https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/pebble-beach https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/mayas-palace https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/petes-place https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/heron-way https://www.fingerlakespremierproperties.com/rentals/phils-paradise-at-perry-point
  18. The second one has a bbq & firepit but smoking is not allowed, I would assume that rule applies to inside the house, and not down by the firepit but I wouldn't stress that too much on my account. Happy to take a walk down the street or will bring a kayak and we can take turns out on the lake for those that do smoke. For dates, any weekend from May to June I can make work. I won't be around in July or Aug tentatively right now.
  19. Hey if you can get a keg, I'm sure I can bring at least 1 down, a buddy has a roof basket that I'm sure he would lend me for this trip.
  20. If you are just swapping bumpers it will fit. Both cars are EDM/JDM spec from the pics and the body panels are interchangeable. You should only need to swap the front bumper. If you are trying to use the washer headlights in your second pic you need the lines as well as the washer pump tank to make them work on your car.
  21. I have mine mounted to the block at the front of the motor right beside the battery. Using a piece of aluminum like KZJonny mentioned using. I think the placement is going to depend on the route of your fuel lines.
  22. Nice pick up, I was following that auction. Looks like you got a solid car.
  23. I'm confirming I will be there. I am in a good role at work so vacation days aren't too much of an issue for me, have 4 weeks and only a few blackout days at the beginning of a few months which would require me to work but even those days can be done working remotely. My bigger concern is by Jan my wife has usually decided/planned where the family is going for vacation for the year so this needs to be set prior to that for me to be able to attend.
  24. I was just looking at Airbnb and there are more that a few available, I think we need to get solid number of who would want to go to another ECM next year and then we can look at houses that will accommodate the number people staying. I have seen things from as high as 3k cad a night to as low as 400 cad per night. Just depends if we want to have a pool or lake access, those without either of those cost less. I will say if we are going to be in the 600us to 900us range for staying some place I would be ok with jumping on a flight to go to an all inclusive resort for a week in that same price range, but I will be good with whatever the group decides.
