  1. You got it. I'll sent it out on Monday. I think I still have it in a pm. Thanks.
  2. Just got a new and hopefully final revision of the vent gauge pod from Kred. It's looking great and i'll get a sample printed over the weekend. Anyone want to do a test fit for me? I'm also going to be upgrading / installing a 2.8W laser cutter / engraver after the holiday so there is that to look forward to.
  3. The software to scan is called scanect. Free trial is available.
  4. There are plenty of folks here that can model. I have the capabilities to 3d scan with my kinect but the resolution isn't amazing.
  5. Thanks for the awesome ideas and contribution. I'd be willing to print the parts for anyone that is interested.
  6. Does the suction cup mount have a ball mount on it? Or some pivoting piece in the middle? if so an arm could be made to hook to that. Post a photo if you can
  7. I'm working on cleaning up the front page of the thread to make it easier to navigate and link to. Thanks to everyone who has offered to help out with design or share what they have designed. I am going to work on a insert for the cubby to hold a phone in landscape orientation tonight. I want a simple and quickly removable way to hold my note 4.
  8. Glad everything got you you in one piece. I don't envy you having to mail out 36 packages now though.. i'd recommend padded mailers as the spacers may get crushed if they are machine sorted. Let me know of there is anything else you Aussies need.
  9. obligatory, "Are you kitten me?" Oops... Ran outside at my Mother in Laws Christmas party (welcome break) to snap that photo. Fat fingered it.
  10. They are fragile, but serve well when installed correct. I have a very early revision in my cat and its holding good for several weeks now. Don't bite, squeeze, twist, pinch etc them when handling. They will not hold up to torsional stress http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/12/14/cedc5ace809ead5ebeaa857eca675f97.jpg
  11. This is getting fairly complex. Like up into the dozens of hours design time complex. I'll see what I can do by modifying the gauge pod kred has designed to accommodate a nexus. I can do it in one piece that way.
  12. Unfortunately a double din and hood scoop blocker are both too large for my current printer.
  13. I have a couple nexus 7's and a cubby, just not much time. I'll see that I can do though.
  14. I totally forgot to get you photos, I'll do that tonight
  15. Thanks and yeah there are a variety of finishing options that could work. The vent will still work, maybe not as well. It it will work.
  16. This was the first test print I did. .3mm z resolution is why you can see all the layers. This was just to verify fitment of the vent insert and angle of the pod. Also, the only post production i did on it was to break off the support material. Granted, a printed part will never have the same finish quality as an injection molded part, but if this makes it to production it will be higher quality.
  17. Update!! First test print of the vent gauge pod. Very promising! http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/12/07/4bb46bc990f18605f4bc8fd47293a897.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/12/07/3f29b71dd9f22bc95422d536e9fca03e.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/12/07/450225584ae780e9b49e700ea0afb3a5.jpg
  18. Best luck is finding one used. That's what I did.
  19. Still in Development. Kred can update when he stops by.
  20. OK, i'll see what I can come up with. I did the same thing TL did but dipped mine in plastidip (the liquid not the spray) Do you want me to leave room for the resister to come through, or just a solid plug to cap the socket off?
  21. Updated the second post and consolidated the info to purchase the items. I'm strongly considering reducing the price of the gauge pods. If they were priced closer to $35 + shipping, would more of you be interested in purchasing?
  22. Looks doable. Kred is still working on the Defrost Gauge pod and I'm waiting on a design for a vent pod. Still need to work on the Third Brake light delete also
