  1. I have the Max’s on my Tacoma and they are awesomely bright. I moved my Pro’s from my Tacoma to my Outback when I upgraded and transferred over the corresponding mounting bits. I’ve never been flashed by anyone with either the Pro’s or Max’s on my Tacoma, so the cutoff is really good.
  2. Which version are those, sport, pro or max’s? Agreed, they look like they are on the high side.
  3. That would have been a perfect time to upgrade to the Cusco rear HD sway bar end link brackets (part # 684316A), rather than the OEM ones.
  4. Those are KW V3’s? I still have the Outback spacers installed. Will I need to get rid of those?
  5. I have a Tacoma TRD Pro so the off-road capability of the OBXT isn’t as critical.
  6. Another option is swapping over to the Bilstein BTS-5088J, that drops the ride height 30mm: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/q459799678
  7. How long did the rebuild take? Understood that you had it done pre-COVID and that may impact their turnaround.
  8. I’m undecided right now because I’d also like to find some coilovers to replace my aging Bilstein BTS setup. I’m currently running 235/45r18’s on 18x8” Enkei Raijin’s. I’m thinking a 265/40r18. What size tire would you recommend? Edit: Maybe 255/45r18
  9. The last time I drove my Outback traction was a serious issue, so I’ve been looking for some wider wheels. I’ve settled on either TE37’s in an 18x9.5”, and doing all of the fitment mods needed, or BBS RF 520’s (18x9” ET45).
  10. Low beam headlights: Low beam headlights with fogs: I realized I should have also done high beams after the fact.
  11. JDM D-F Outback front end with Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro’s in SAE yellow:
  12. Installed Diode Dynamic SS3 Pro’s in SAE yellow:
  13. Did an oil change and since it’s been so long I couldn’t remember the exact capacity with the KillerB oil pan and accidentally overfilled it requiring me to drain a little bit. That was super easy to do with a Fumoto valve. I also installed Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro fog lights in SAE yellow.
  14. As far as I could determine, you need to have a button in that spot and not a blank.
  15. The fog lamps are different on the JDM Outback and I remember them mounting differently than the USDM ones. It’s been a couple years since I’ve last been in there. I need to pop off the front bumper to take a look. I also have a Syms lightweight front beam I’ll probably install at the same time. It’s a huge increase in output on the SS3 Max’s, even over the SS3 Pro’s and definitely over the OEM Rigid LED’s. This is where I did my research: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-led-sae-j583-fog-pod-fog-light-review.554813/page-186#post-24528029
  16. I had to drive the Outback about a month ago but only to get it out of the garage so I could put the truck in there to install an OEM Audio + System. I still need to reregister it. I took this pic after I installed the Diode Dynamics SS3 Max’s and removed the SS3 Pro’s. The SS3 Pro’s I plan on installing on my Outback. I have no idea if they will work on my JDM bumper.
  17. This looks like a pretty good “how to”: https://hwshim.wordpress.com/2009/06/16/how-to-replace-subaru-outback-2008-cabin-ac-filter/
  18. I’d really like to see a build list. Might be compelling to make some changes.
  19. You are right, before I switched to a hybrid speed density tune, I was “limited” to 402whp. 20. #2 is 92 pump. E10 is in reference to the ethanol blend which is standard in Oregon on pump (https://www.oregonlive.com/environment/2008/05/oregons_ethanol_requirement_lo.html).
