  1. Be sure to swap the VIN plate on the dash over. When I got mine swapped under the sticky dash warranty replacement they forgot to remove the VIN plate which luckily I noticed and they were able to save from the trash but they gave it to me in a bag.
  2. https://jalopnik.com/heres-what-those-rubber-flaps-are-hidden-behind-your-re-1828016409#:~:text=One of the reasons that, and make noises as air
  3. Seems like with enough warning prior to the trip you could increase your AAA/CAA membership to include longer towing distances.
  4. @DoctorDaveLGT One other thing I forgot that you’ll want to get with the reclining seats is the tonneau cover that has a flap that extends towards the back of the rear seats and is spring loaded to stay in place and slide back with the seats. You can probably find a better condition one than this, but here is an example: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/t1105929991
  5. In addition to Buyee, which is easy to use because the link is at the top of every listing, I've used https://myjapanbrand.com/ which I found on the JapanParts.com page and https://importmonster.com.au/. There are some items that Buyee won't allow you to purchase and the other buying services are helpful for those items.
  6. Did you get the brackets for the rear seats that mount to the body and allow the three recline positions? I remember installing a rivnut in the body to install it.
  7. The footwell lighting does require some splicing, although it does have a harness connection on it. Cargo fan goes in the rear left, opposite side of the subwoofer. I think it was intended for people that go fishing and have stinky fish in the back. Subaru also have an accessory fishing pole rack that goes on the inside along the headliner. I've only ever seen the cargo fan with tan interior plastics. The power folding rear seats are reclinable and spring loaded, so when you press the button at the back the seat automatically folds flat.
  8. The one you posted should make the passenger dash airbag functional only when the sensor “sees” enough weight to set it off, typically 30-40 pounds. The Bride one “tricks” the airbag system into thinking that the side impact air bag in the seat is still connected. It shouldn’t defeat the airbag in the dash.
  9. This is a different part. My 2009 OBXT could have used this. I transferred the sensor from my OEM seat, along with the heated seat elements, and installed them in my STi Recaro’s that have side impact air bags.
  10. Great to see that the market is strong on cleanly modded OBXT’s. I consider selling mine from time to time.
  11. Recaro also makes universal resistor kits for side airbags. That’s what I got for my WRX
  12. Are you going to replace with the tighter ratio STi steering rack?
  13. What wheels did you remove and did they have hub centric spacers? When I installed my first of my new TE37's, I didn't realize that the spacer from the Enkei that I removed was stuck on the hub and I had issues getting five lugs on. I imagine with extended studs you could overlook this. Only 2 of 4 stuck to the hub and not the wheel.
  14. That's another reason why the one piece carbon fiber driveshaft from Driveshaft Shop Sounds appealing. It eliminates this failure point completely.
  15. That’s interesting. I’m not sure if it would work on my car since it says it’s not compatible with Outback except I have SpecB bits there. It doesn’t say anything about 6MT compatibility.
  16. This JDM rear garnish, looks really good with the red and white JDM tails: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h1101047124
  17. It was just over $700. They claim better cycle life than lead acid. This battery has a remote jump start feature built in. You don’t even have to pop the hood, you just press the button on one of the included remotes.
  18. I dropped 34 pounds. https://antigravitybatteries.com/products/starter-batteries/automotive/ag-35-rs/
  19. If you like a black with red theme, this place does custom seat belts and you can get red edged black. I'm just about to send mine out to them. https://www.safetyrestore.com/content/74-colored-seat-belts?gclid=CjwKCAjw-eKpBhAbEiwAqFL0mvJq-tB7KTZZi2LmduPxRNZ1nYqluBp5wP1VaHOaztCWmxmN57egTxoCSWgQAvD_BwE
  20. Are the Girodisc rear rotors like the DBA adapter rotors, and compatible with the Legacy parking brake? https://www.fastwrx.com/products/dba-4000-series-sti-adapter-rotor
  21. I picked up a set of JDM black pillars that are airbag compatible. I already have the D-pillars and upper tailgate pieces so I will probably list those soon. A-pillars Left 94010AG050 Right 94010AG040 B-pillars Left 94012AG050 ("SRS Airbag" cover 94067AG110) Right 94012AG040 ("SRS Airbag" cover 94067AG100) C-Pillars Left 94043AG010 ("SRS Airbag" cover 94067AG130) Right 94043AG000 ("SRS Airbag" cover 94067AG120) D-pillars Left 94015AG010 Right 94015AG000
