  1. looking at a '11 tacoma trd off road access cab v6 w/ a 6 speed in magnetic grey metallic to supplement the GT. Quick, somebody talk me out of it.
  2. my thought exactly, it only has 13X k on it and it just got a new clutch. if its actually as good as they say i'd think you could get at least 11 for it
  3. that must be including the owners manual and the Nav manual, which is just as long as the owners manual
  4. i used a 1/4" drive ratchet, that made it much easier. i also used a short extension then switched to a long socket that fit over the back of the spark plug socket. took a bit for me to get my order of operations down, going to remove the ratchet or extension and realizing i didn't have enough room to do so and have to thread in a couple turn, but now that i have that down it's really not the worst job. one last tip would be when removing the coil pack you want to twist it 180 as your removing it, not before, and same for putting it back in.
  5. found itNew_Car_Information_2012_Legacy_and_Outback.pdf
  6. there are very few differences between the '10-'11s and '12s. the major difference is the different wheels, which aren't even actually different just a different color. all body panels are identical. they also offered them in a few different colors in '12 and didn't offer a premium option, limited only. on my home comp i have something that covers every tiny difference but i believe it comes along with the VACATION PICS
  7. I'm going to go ahead and say everyone with a manual and very small percentage of AT/CVT drivers... ill say 4%
  8. ok it was definitely yellow. the problem still has yet to repeat itself
  9. bout 5 hrs north of north jersey.... I'm from Morris county tho.
  10. I'm quick on the flip so id prefer a hard copy when i'm actually in the garage, but using the search function on the PDF is nice when I'm inside planning out my job.
  11. like this not the best picture but you get the idea. one of these with the proper angle on it could actually increase effectiveness of a lower mounted (read lip) spoiler.... and i love the way they look.
  12. will do thanks I'm honestly not sure. i figured it was a low level light because i thought a bigger deal would have been made of low oil pressure. I can't exactly remember,I'll have to have my GF take a picture of it the next time it pops up. but I want to say it was oil can w/ a ripple.
  13. was driving my girlfriends 3.6R OB the other day and the oil light came on about 10 minutes in then went out in 5 minutes or so, before i could even reach the next exit. i checked the level when we got back and it was firmly in the desired zone. i just changed the oil myself 2.xK ago with the same castrol edge 5w40 oil i always use in my car so the issue shouldn't be there. the only time that light's came on in my car was when i didn't pre fill the oil filter so i fear she has some crud build up in the oil passages that may have cause a pocket of air near the sensor for the oil light, but i have no idea where that would be. anyone have any reasons this could happen? I'm starting to think we should dump this thing and try to get a FXT with the profits before anything bad happens. her grandma really put this thing through the ringer. of course my GF told me that has been happening every so often without ever mentioning it.
  14. ... can we talk about flow diverters like came on the 06-07 STI
  15. Nice find, i have it downloaded on my comp but a hard copy would be nice since i don't love getting my comp covered in grime. the thing I'd really love is a book with all the diagrams giving part numbers. I assume it exists but i can't seem to find one.
  16. JESUS MARRY!!! $35 for 3 days and $2500 for a year of using a service manual? how much do they sell them for? for that price the damn thing better at least be able to pass me tools. can you give me their email so i can tell them where to stick their service manual?
  17. mine has been floppy back there for 2+ years but you can't really tell unless I have the windows down at a decent speed. mine usually seats its self relatively well like in the second picture tho. I've been trying to think of a way to fix it without making it irremovable but haven't come up with anything good yet.
  18. i thought of that also but the new wrx has that large lowered section in front of it. so i'm thinking i can almost mimic that, swapping one over from a previous gen woul probably be easy enough tho i guess.
  19. that would be awesome, if you can get me that file I will play around with scoop options in my down time at work. if you can get some of the hood infront of it to that would great, I have been heavily considering making the scoop larger by lowering the hood infront of it rather than making the scoop itself taller. if/when i go for some more power.
  20. Thread jacking in process.... has anyone installed this whiteline bushing kit for the front control arm? https://whitelineperformance.com/products/w53377a-bushing-kit. I'm planning on using mevotech arms and the pancake buhsing/ ball joint that comes in them but figured this might be a nice addition to reduce slop.
