  1. No can find, that's weird. Could've sworn I saw something about an S402 with them. For half-credit, here is said factory brace on an STi: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/freeman4ever/TIC%20Fender%20Braces/Factorybrace_left.jpg
  2. I ain't scurred! Post away
  3. Not only are they available, but the mounting holes should be pre-drilled. Some JDM variants got braces, stock. S402, at least.
  4. Is it adjustable up/down in/out? Less clearance to the top of the intercooler, but more from the engine-bay weather-stripping. If not, do you have enough spare to take a few threads off?
  5. More pistons don't equal greater stopping power or more stopping force. Just more evenly distributed and better modulated. Stopping power is almost always limited by the tire's grip on the road, not the brake caliper's clamping force on the rotor. Stock 2-pots with old fluid can trigger ABS, or lock up the tire, no problem.
  6. Sorry fat fingers here, 4200 not 3200. Don't think the US ever saw the 3200. Awesome that it's a 6MT. I sold Masers for a while, and I never got to drive that car without the car-ruining Cambio Corse transmission
  7. And, just like in WWII, Italy is broke and can't contribute anything to the effort. What is that Maser, a 3200? I didn't think any were left on the road.
  8. Did you do a compression test when you did plugs/coils? Might be a tired motor, on it's way out... or maybe you have a good bottom end, and good compression, but tight exhaust valves. Both are common scenarios at higher mileage on these cars. I wouldn't do a timing belt job on the car until you know what you're working with.
  9. Vanity plate says "QUISHA" ... as in the sound your tires make, after being chariot-spiked?
  10. Deadline shouldn't be up yet for all. The letter clearly states the end of March, 2017, OR 10 years after purchase date of the vehicle, whatever is later. So 2008's and 2009's should be good for a while longer.
  11. Amazing machine. Crazy that he went through 5 motors before though
  12. Truth, not necessary but definitely beneficial. Add an EGT for even more info/fine tuning. In a perfect world we'd have sensors on every cylinder, intake and exhaust.
  13. Sounds like your tune is too aggressive, or you have a mechanical problem somewhere. Since switching to 91 alleviates the problems, it's probably the 93 tune that's the culprit. Unless you're really putting terrible gas in there. Where do you fill up? You never want to see changes in DAM. Only light feedback knock (no more than -2.8) and the occasional FKL of -1.4 is within the "normal" range. Anything more es no bueno.
  14. Start with the basics of proper logging. TA put together a nice .pdf which I've attached. Do an Idle, Cruise, and WOT log as per their instructions. With DAM at .75, and feedback as high as -12, I'd be looking for a mechanical issue, but I'd also get in touch with a good tuner to help you pinpoint it. Speak to them before logging more, as a few WOT runs with big knock can definitely do some damage... Subaru Logging Guide.pdf
  15. I see your manifold/crossover heatshields also resemble artifacts raised from the Titanic Not hurting anything, but those rattles can be a source of phantom knock. Definitely the case for my car.

  18. That bunny looks rightfully scared.
  19. Exactly! She's looking at me like... SAY IT
  20. I've always tried to train my dogs from first feeding that food is a privilege not a right. They don't like it at first but they learn. Food goes in the bowl and dog stays seated until EAT command. Always be able to re-claim the food once they've started eating it, too. At any time I can reach in and grab some food or push the dog away from their meal and stand in front of it. They will sit back down until I say EAT again. In this pic I'm pretty sure she's waiting for that command http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=229477&d=1462189216
  21. Your clutch is only slipping at what would be peak torque. I'm talking about all the rest of it! Exedy is good and dependable stuff, as long as you stay somewhat mild.
  22. Very nice power!! That torque mountain... What are your plans for the clutch? You can make your current one last if you stay out of the go-pedal, but what fun is that?
