  1. So popular they can't keep it in stock!
  2. Funny, that's where I used to work (banner in the back)

  4. KRB is definitely a gusher! I think it's silly for the stewards to apply the rules to some people, sometimes. Four off is four off. Quali laps were full of violations. Why should the race be any different? If you're going to enforce the rule at the end of the race in an arbitrary fashion, then it's not much of a rule. Gotta be consistent! We all know it's politics, and Ferrari always gets the benefit of these calls...
  5. Caught a glimpse of some German rice in the wild: http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=256641&stc=1&d=1507776890 Yes, those are parking feelers. And red mudflaps. The little black satellite dish on the roof is a nice touch, as well

  7. They'll change it for next season, I'd guess. Also, ESPN is picking up coverage for next season, no more NBC. Hope they keep the announcers/commentators.
  8. Oh look, new thread. Crazy rain at practice this morning. I don't usually watch practice, but will for Suzuka. Among the best 5 tracks IMO.
  9. A stock BRZ will do 60 in under 7 seconds, which isn't that fast by today's standards, but is definitely quick enough to outrun most traffic. It's light, RWD, and makes over 200 horsepower. Methinks you're spoiled by turbo torque. Or, you have a very quick toaster!
  10. Yes, increased/sporadic oil consumption. The car went from consuming .5qt to 1.5qt per 1000 miles. This happened pretty quickly. Maybe within 5k miles, which is 2 months for me. It ran great until the end. The motor doesn't owe me a dime, as far as I'm concerned. Rod knock is quiet but obvious, right around 3000 RPM under light or lifting throttle. Flickering oil light at idle when I pulled over after hearing the knock. I only saw the oil light for a few seconds before shutting her down.
  11. Pretty sure they're running both ECU's, or swapping the USDM for a basic tune that will pass inspection. Def need the JDM ECU to run AVCS, at least I did in my spec C swap. This was back in '05 tho!
  12. Bigger rear brakes are a smart upgrade. Most OEM's overly bias balance toward the front so that in an emergency situation the rear end doesn't get loose. When modifying older Imprezas, one of the best bang-for-the-buck brake upgrades is to slap on a set of Legacy H6 brackets and rotors. More torque on the rear = less nose-dive and more neutral braking!
  13. Glad you got it sorted. I checked the part number I had again and it was the wrong bit, after all
  14. My '08 rolled over 200,000 about 5 weeks ago. Passed 202,000 today but didn't bother with a pic. Still running the original turbo on the original engine and major components. Engine-out service around 150k included all belts, gaskets, sensors, rubber bits, and a fresh clutch. 5k OCI with Brotella, with 1-2qts added over the interval.
  15. At least the wing is in the right place, FWD and all
  16. Great shot with the Citroen (on bags yo!).
  17. The AMG kit keeps us closer to the ground... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1l7mqWmaBg]Sir Mix A Lot (Posse On Broadway) - 1988 - YouTube[/ame]
  18. Their loss. What's not to like about a Purrfekt arse?
