  1. My experience with them has been that the very first stop needs extra room in super cold weather, but all the subsequent ones are fine. I've been DDing them for 3 years now.
  2. That actually looks like a fairly well designed wing, could be an autocross ssm car.
  3. Here it is: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/100-independent-foglight-mod-no-wire-cutting-splicing-method-35066.html
  4. I will be doing this soon. Don't have the issue when I use my block heater but otherwise on cold mornings I get the noise
  5. In and all set now. Pro tip to anyone doing these in the future with the motor in the car, be sure to take the time to unbolt the motor mounts one at a time and jack that side of the car up. Makes it way easier to get the cover on correctly without damaging the gasket.
  6. Other than that it went fine. I think I'll jack the motor up on the driver side to give me more clearance tonight though
  7. Underdog to the rescue! Picking up my new one tomorrow! Don't make the same mistake I made.
  8. I learned this weekend that they're a lot easier with the valve cover off. I also learned this weekend to be careful putting the valve cover back on or you'll cut the new gasket with your bolts. Hopefully I can find a new one quickly
  9. I would be open to that prime minister, I'm doing mine on Friday
  10. Subarugenuineparts.com My local dealer price matches with those prices
  11. For a little while there was interest in a vent pod option like Jeremy had, one that fits inside the far left vent pod. I'll see if I can find pictures of what I mean, but I would be very interested in one of those. He didn't end up selling them because the material they used didn't stand up to heat as well as he thought they would, but it sounds like you're using a more durable material. 12. When you guys do these, does anyone disconnect the motor mount nuts and jack the engine up for ease? if so, where do you jack if you're only jacking one side at a time? When I did the oil pan last year I just unbolted both and lifted by the headers but I feel like if I'm leaving one on then I don't think I should do that again.
  13. lots of threads are doing that today, not sure why
  14. spotted a red GT sedan on 28 this morning, we both waved but I had to change lanes into the right lane because you were about to t bone me, dick.
  15. I've had no problems with mine since doing it a couple years ago and I don't even think I soldered.
  16. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/09/02/eja4ynu6.jpg Spotted Jeremy
  17. Spotted NRW giving me some of his home brew beer in exchange for some dogfishead 120. Car still looks sexy as phuck
  18. Replacing the seal on the driver side isn't necessary. It would mean doing the whole axle again, and a new axle nut at least. Not worth it if you don't have any problems
  19. I'll let you know when I edit the videos tonight but I believe my fastest clean run was with you in the passenger seat!
  20. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/21/ahe8egud.jpg Spotted pfoyle's boat tearing it up at autocross today. Nice driving today man!
