  1. Hi all......... this is pretty mundane stuff compared to all the 'rebuild' stuff you guys are posting, but lots of work for me and lots of satisfaction. Did the whole wash, detail, clay bar and wax yesterday and finished it off this morning...I am getting too old for this kind of crap!! But I love the results.
  2. HELL EXPLAINED BY A CHEMISTRY STUDENT...a science lesson for today. Student Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)? Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following: First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving, which is unlikely. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added. This gives two possibilities: 1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose. 2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over. So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year that, 'It will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you,' and take into account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number two must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over. The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is therefore, extinct..... ....leaving only Heaven, thereby proving the existence of a divine being which explains why, last night, Teresa kept shouting 'Oh my God.' THIS STUDENT RECEIVED AN A+.

  8. Wal Mart ............ who knew? PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO FACT NUMBER 18, THIS WILL REALLY SURPRISE YOU! This should boggle your mind! (Dead Peasant's Insurance was / is real). 1. At Wal-Mart, Americans spend $36,000,000 every hour of every day. 2. This works out to $20,928 profit every minute! 3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year. 4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target + Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined. 5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people and is the largest private employer, and most can't speak English. 6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world. 7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger Safeway combined, keep in mind they did this in only 15 years. 8. During this same period, 31 Supermarket chains sought bankruptcy. 9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world. 10. Wal-Mart has approx.3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had 5 years ago. 11. This year, 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur At a Wal-Mart store. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 billion). 12. 90% of all Americans live within 15 miles of a Wal-Mart. 13. The value of product for Wal-Mart passing through the port of San Diego each year is a larger sum than 93% of ALL countries Gross National Product (GNP)..... and that is only ONE port... one way – that’s how Wal-Mart gets it's stuff. 14. Of the 1.6 million employees, only 1.2% make a living above the poverty level. 15. Wal-Mart's head office is located and centralized in Bentonville, AR. Due to this fact, there are more millionaires per square mile there than any place on Earth. 16. The official U.S. Government position is that Wal-Mart's prices are no lower than anyone else's when compared to a typical family's weekly purchase. That's the view of the statisticians at the Bureau Of Labor Statistics (BLS) responsible for calculating the Consumer Price Index (CPI). 17. 92% of everything Wal-Mart sells, comes from China. Another 4% comes from Chinese owned companies in the U.S. or in 3rd world Countries. 18. Wal-Mart and MOST large companies, take out life insurance on its employees, without their knowing. If an employee dies, ALL the insurance moneys go to the companies. (i.e. An employee making $18,000 per year, dies, and the company might make as much as $1 million. Most often these monies, coming from what is commonly referred to as "Dead Peasant Life Insurance Policies", is paid out to executives as bonuses. A common practice, unknown by the average consumer.) 19. Wal-Mart now averages a "profit" (not sales) of $36 billion per year. If all the Wal-Mart stores for some reason closed, would China go bankrupt?
  9. Pilot Sport A/S 3 or 3+ or A/S 4 I've had A/S 3's on my Leggy for almost 6 years and they will easily go another year or more....worth every cent you pay for them.
  10. Is it worth it?? Yeah it is....if you want to run your fogs in DRL, low beam and high beam modes....it costs about $5 worth of wire and connectors, not to mention the whopping 20 minutes of your time. This is NOT a way to avoid using the OEM wiring and switches ....It is a way to have full control over your fog lights in conjunction with the OEM set up. Up to you
  11. FWIW.... I put in Morimoto LED fogs just over 7 years ago and they have been trouble free ever since....really bright with great top line cut off. BTW I also went to independent fog light operation at the same time....if you search my posts you'll find my thread on how to do it. Cheers Note that the pics with the lights on were taken before I installed the LED fog

  14. Got tired of driving around wearing out my snow tires on dry paved roads.....according to the weather forecasters we were in for one of our coldest snowiest winter?? We had 2 days when there was actual snow falling....about 3 weeks ago we had about 2" of snow over night that turned to rain by mid day and was gone. Then a couple of days ago we got a dusting of wet snow in the morning but it was gone by noon. So I spent about an hour today swapping out my snow tires, on OEM rims, and puts my OZ rims and Michelins back on.......The forecast for the next 2 weeks is pretty much just warm and wet.....Gotta love west coast winter

  16. Two guys grow up together, but after college one moves to Toronto and the other to Vancouver. However, they agree to meet every ten years in Florida to play golf and catch up with each other. At age 32 they meet, finish their round of golf and head for lunch. "Where you wanna go?" "Hooters." "Why Hooters?" "They have those servers with the big boobs, the tight shorts and the gorgeous legs." "You're on." At age 42, they meet and play golf again "Where you wanna go for lunch?" "Hooters." "Again? Why?" "They have cold beer, big screen TVs, and side action on the games." "OK." At age 52 they meet and play again. "So where you wanna go for lunch?" "Hooters. "Why?" "The food is pretty good and there's plenty of parking." "OK." At age 62 they meet again. After a round of golf, one says, "Where you wanna go?" "Hooters." "Why?" "Wings are half price and the food isn't too spicy." "Good choice" At age 72 they meet again. Once again, after a round of golf, one says, "Where shall we go for lunch?" "Hooters." "Why?" "They have six handicapped parking spaces right by the door and have senior discounts." "Great choice." At age 82 they meet and play again. "Where should we go for lunch?" "Hooters." "Why?" "Because we've never been there before." “Okay, let’s give it a try.
