  4. I filled the trunk with wine bottles in cases...then drove to the local "U-Brew" winery near our house and bottled 6 cases of Malbec and Cab-Sav....lots more wine and BBQ dinners coming up.
  5. I'd start looking back at the dealership.........they misrepresented the problem and sold you the car based on that. It is, obviously, more than just a fuse so they should be on the hook for finding and repairing the problem. IHMO
  6. Really what could possibly go wrong here??
  7. I had the same thing happen on a trip to Boise a few years ago....hit a piece of curb stone that was laying by a parking lot entrance......going slowly but pretty much the same damage. Tire was destroyed and rim was much like yours....ever so slightly out of round at the outer bead but not where the tire seats against the rim. You can get it straightened pretty easily but it probably makes no difference as it is. Mine was one of my OZ Crono rims....after we checked it with the tire off I decided to just leave it as is.........makes no difference to balance or driving. Have your alignment checked though.
  8. Hilarious....as a long time cat owner/lover this all seems kind of normal
  9. The luggage rack adds a nice aerodynamic touch
  10. This guy needed to re evaluate his priorities!!
  11. FORT WORTH, Texas — A gunman was stoned to death by a group of people after he shot and killed one person and injured three others, according to a report by FOX 7 Austin. According to the report, the incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Monday in Fort Worth where a “small gathering” was happening in someone’s backyard. Accused Texas killer caught in Indiana Police believe the shooter became upset with a person during the gathering and returned with a gun, shooting at least one person non-fatally. Police say the shooter was then chased by several party-goers which prompted the shooter to fire into the pursuing crowd. In response to being fired upon, police say the pursuing mob began to pelt the gunman with landscaping stones and bricks. The gunman was repeatedly stoned by the pursing crowd, police said, but still managed to fire his weapon several times striking at least two more people. One of the individuals struck by the gunfire died from their injuries. The gunman was killed at the scene after being repeatedly struck with stones and bricks by the party-goers.
  12. A Lexus mechanic was removing a cylinder head from the motor of an LS460 when he spotted a well-known cardiac surgeon in his shop. The surgeon was there waiting for the service manager to come and take a look at his car when the mechanic shouted across the garage, "Hey Doc, want to take a look at this?" The cardiac surgeon, a bit surprised, walked over to where the mechanic was working. The mechanic straightened up, wiped his hands on a rag and asked, "So Doc, look at this engine. I opened its heart, took the valves out, repaired or replaced anything damaged, and then put everything back in, and when I finished, it worked just like new. So how is it that I make $48,000 a year and you make $1.7M when you and I are doing basically the same work. The cardiac surgeon paused, leaned over and whispered to the mechanic.... “Try doing it with the engine running."
