  1. If you ever get out to BC give me a buzz....I'm alive and well in Vancouver
  2. Well.... Not so unusual I guess but I took it for a drive to do a bit of shopping and on the way home we got to a milestone mileage. I could not take a pic of the speedo while driving in heavy traffic so I had to wait till I got home. Now keep in mind my 3.6R is a 2013 but I bought it new in March of 2014....actually on my birthday...Yippee! Just turned 50,000 Kilometers (For all my American friends , that's 30,000 Miles) I gotta stop driving so much!!....if I'm not careful this car will actually be broken in sometime in the next few years
  3. No way we are sick of your mods....you are just doing the stuff we all dream about doing but never get around to. I used to do this kind of stuff but with early British sports cars in the 60's and 70's....now I am just happy to have a nice car with a few "Personal Mods" to make it a bit nicer to drive and feel like it is mine. Sometimes I read your posts and it reminds me of "Frederick" who was very active on here as he built a Leggy 3.6R into a viable race car..... Apparently a friend of his asked him..... "So, how much has it cost your to make your car undriveable?" Keep at it....it is fun reading for the rest of us. 1962 TR-3b.....bunch of serious mods on this one....you can just see the oil cooler above the license plate inside the grill. Consistent winner in Autocross, Slalom and Gymkhana events during the 70's........that was back in the day when I was a lot younger and still had hair.
  4. When I was a teenager (A long time ago) my grandfather had a flock of sheep that numbered about 25-30 head. Anytime grand dad went out in the fields the sheep would line up behind him in some predetermined order and follow him everywhere he went. It seemed that they had a pecking order that was always followed in their walks. It was fun to watch and never failed....it just seems to be in their DNA to "Follow the leader"
  5. The Curious Case of Pablo EskoBear- The “Cocaine Bear” http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2017/08/amazing-tale-kentucky-folk-hero-pablo-eskobear-cocaine-bear/
  6. Not up to any code but...Hey what could possibly go wrong.??
  7. Hard to believe ?? You would think that maybe at least one of them would have come back to life.
  8. Welcome to the forum...always good to see a few more "Canucks"
  9. I was going to say that I have seen one similar to that....then I saw the British Columbia plates on it....that must be the one I have seen around town. UGLEEE!!
  10. I believe the run you are thinking of was called "Blowdown"....skied it many times but was lucky enough to avoid the pain meds
  11. That sounds bad.....fingers crossed that you caught it before any other collateral damage occurred and the fix will be quick and easy (Read as reasonably cheap) Good luck with it.
  12. Just looking at that picture scares the hell outta me....but...back in the day when I was a lot younger and quite a bit stupider I skied those kind of runs most days when we went out.... At Whistler/Blackcomb the 2 steepest were "Goat's Gully" and "Saudan Couloir" The top of Goat's was just like that but not quite as far vertically........On the "Saudan" they run an extreme race down it every year.... I never ran the race but we skied it as often as we had good snow. Must have been NUTS!!
  13. Not sure that I'm in love with this new format but at least I am getting e-mail notifications for my "Subscribed" threads again. I'll stick around a while longer and see if it grows on me. I see that when I get an e-mail and click on the "go to this post" tab it takes me to the FORUMS page but not the exact thread or post....it also comes up in the dark theme until I sign in then it goes to the light coloured theme which I prefer....odd but amusing
