So, the forum seems to be alive again.....are we going be getting e-mail notifications re "subscribed threads?

With all the stuff that has been deleted and changed...including no more e-mail notifications I think I just learned a bit of Spanish..........ADIOS AMIGOS

I have just used the rubber grommet around the steering column on this and previous legacys ...no need for drilling that way.....and the wire comes into the cabin just below the dash. No need to take anything apart.

And what is your idea as to why our thousands of posts don't show anymore? A few years ago I went through this same issue and, as you guess, it was due to my ISP not forwarding any e-mail from legacygt because it showed to them as a spam site. I believe that the server that legacygt was (maybe still) used was a problem (Name may have been Barracuda?) I got around it by switching to a gmail address but it seems that doesn't work anymore either. Oh well I'll look in from time to time to see what's going on.

Same old problem and looks like I am not the only one....I am subscribed to 53 threads and have not had an e-mail notification in almost 2 months.... I have checked and there are hundreds of replies I should have been notified of over that time. This seems to be a recurring problem on this forum. I have "Unsubscribed" and then "Subscribed" to a lot of the most active ones... I have checked and confirmed that my e-mail is correct and notifications are enabled.... Still nothing....is this forum slowly fading away? Any help would be appreciated....how about someone send me a PM just to see if I get notified on that function? Thanks PS.... I just noticed that my "Post count" has dropped to 454....it should be in the thousands....also lots of very active members show almost no posts....what's up?? Slow death of legacygt.com ?????

Friend of mine has been a Subaru fan for years....went from a 2002 Forester to a 2007 Legacy wagon and recently to a 2016 Outback 3.6R. He added better tires and an STi 20mm rear sway bar...HUGE improvement....handles great for a family SUV wagon.

Not so ,much what I "bought" as what I acquired. I guess it was 2 years (and a bit more) ago I won a local golf tournament where the organizers had hit up local businesses for merchandise and gift certificates etc. to give out as prizes. Not what you would expect for winning an amateur tournament but I got a $250 gift certificate at a Ford dealership. It was gathering dust in my desk so I finally decided to go to the dealership and see what I could find that I might ever use. I decided car care stuff was going to be my best bet....cleaners, polishes, tire shine, glass cleaner etc etc. I started pointing this stuff out to the guy in the parts department when the dealership manager, who I know from playing golf with him over the years, comes over and tells me that they are getting out of handling those products. He then tells his parts guy to get a box and fill it with all their Motorcraft car care stuff and give it all to me I walked out with about $400 of products and will probably never have to buy any of that kind of stuff again...Yippee!!

Sounds like a nice low mileage car.... I have a 2013 Legacy 3.6R Limited which I bought new and have "modded" slightly over the years...great cars. My wife has a 2012 2.5 Limited too...also very low mileage...neither of them have reached 30,000 miles yet How about some pictures and more details...color, interior pics etc. welcome to the forum.
