Max Capacity Posted December 18, 2012 Share Posted December 18, 2012 rubber cement works great, that's what's holding one of mine on for 3 years now. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. Fredbeans, a vendor here would have them. You may use a heat gun to soften it and reform it. SCHM1AN Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 It's supposed to guard the fender from slicing open your tires if you bottom out, but if you do that enough you'll wear through the rubber lining and expose some sharp metal pieces inside.
