  1. We should have a PNW wagon picture party.
  2. Bump this for allowing links to the market place in the regional thread. No need to close them down completely if they just post a link (since they're folloing rules).
  3. Re: Install of the bumper "kit", is there any 'gotchas' I need to be aware of? Is there a DIY thread somewhere? I can't find anything good in my 20 seconds of searching.
  4. Yep. Parked that far over intentionally so that WOULDNT happen. Shows me, right?
  5. whelp, its official, the first grill you made/sold is dead. Some idiot doesn't know how to pull out of a parking spot and took my front end with him
  6. I'm looking for a complete front end swap (or individual pieces). Anyone have any leads for me?
  7. Just put an order in for the kit and some exhaust gaskets. Thanks for producing this.
  8. ^^can't you just buy a 'real' one? The reason we need one of these is the JDM ones do not fit our USDM bumpers.
  9. I like that 'set back' slightly look. Just FYI, whatever black paint you used originally isn't holding up well to rock chips. I'm not trying to blame you or anything, just want to let you know so you can use something a little more stout this next go around.
  10. Has there been talk of ballpark price point yet? Since there is a prototype, we should be getting close to knowing rough manufacturing costs and such, yes?
  11. Got the controls today, now I just need my wheel to show up... Getting excited!
  12. Nice try! Can't fool me twice! This time I'm ordering from Jamie at Chaplains. I know she'll take care of me.
  13. just put in my order with Subaru for my SWCs...I'm excited to get this wired up!
  14. I'm assuming I am now a part of this thread...or will be soon. I'm parked on my downhill driveway, facing downhill. My car was idling there for about 10 minutes while I loaded up my car with my hockey gear. As I backed out of the driveway, I'm forced to put it under a bit of load to go up the hill.....large (relative as I'm not used to seeing any) blue smoke cloud out of the exhaust... I stop on level ground, get out, a bit of smoke coming from the engine bay too...nothing huge though. It all goes away, everything seems "normal" so I drive cautiously to my hockey game. I'm going to pull my downpipe and check the condition of the turbo on Saturday as I'm hoping this is just a seal going bad (anyone have a vf52 they want to sell me?), but other than that, I'm not sure what to do. I could do a compression check and whatnot I suppose, but I'm assuming this is turbo related. 05 LGT, 118K miles (about turbo failure miles)
  15. Yes, sealant between the head and gasket. I find it easiest to put the gasket in the valve cover "slot" and then put the sealant on top of the gasket in the places it calls for it. Then, snake the valve cover unit in and bolt it all up. Make sure to confirm you didn't unseat the gasket when trying to snake it in. Once you tighten everything up, go dosomething else for the rest of the night. Come back in the morning and drive away knowing it dried overnight. The idea is you don't want oil coming in contact with the sealant prematurely.
  16. pics work for me.... and I'm 99% sure it is a front emblem. A couple pages back Catalyst shows a diagram of the front grill to get the part number for the emblem.
  17. Go get on a different dyno and you'll be at 335/375. Yes I'm serious. Yes it does make that big of a difference. I just thought I'd join the conversation. Looks like I'll be picking up a <5K vf52 off a '13 very soon. Add a dw65 and a GS ebcs and I'm ready for a tune!
  18. Honestly, either. if you can make a S402 style look 'finished', that would be bad-a. But the recessed honeycomb looks great too.
  19. I would prefer honeycomb. I think it gives it a more "substantial" look, instead of a completely "vacated space" look.
