I say remarkably because I really put that car through hell as I auto crossed the hell out of it and was running high horsepower numbers on a stock block. Lol. I have never had any trouble with subaru's except on the Legacies. My wife blew her turbo and I just recently blew my turbo. Boo...

So today was dedicated to the rolling of my fenders and also cutting the rears. So started by dropping the car as far as possible with the wheels on in the rear. After that I mocked up the fender flares and marked away with a marker.

After that cut time.

So this cut shows the inner fender liner for the rears. These are metal in the rear. The fronts do not have these. So you have to cut the inner liner as well and push them up behind the fender. After you do that you should have something that looks like this.

So after sanding down the lip and cleaning it up. We lowered it back down and got something that looks like this.

Don't mind me up front giving the fenders a little pull ;)

So I have my car as low as I can humanly get it with the size tires I am running right now. So after I burn these tires up. I will be buying smaller ones with a ever so slight stretch on them if any. The tires I have now are too tall to put this thing on the ground. But for this big of tires 3 inches off the ground isn't too shabby.

Somebody asked for a picture of this so I will throw it in here. I still need to do a little sanding on the lip to make it look more even all the way around.

Enjoy guys!

So I haven't worked on the vehicle in a few days but I do have some updates. My buddy got the top half of my engine tore apart the last time he came over. So I picked up some more goodies and am waiting on a few more. I decided against the VF39 and picked up a stock location ATP3076r. I figure eventually I am going to want more power so might as well get the turbo I want. After I get that installed I will be running it on low boost until I build the motor out of my wrx and cage the 5 speed. We will see where that gets me.

that's only because you are comparing them to the super-sweet knock-off wheels that MooKz buys because he would rather pay $200 per wheel.

these are high quality AND affordable

High quality yes, affordable to an extent. Still expensive to some people that don't make $45k+ a year. I'll eventually get a set of Work or Volks. Just trying to focus on moving to Florida this coming year.

WOW....

That's gonna look crazy with the flares on!!!

I might get some flak for this... but have you considered rusting the hood and throwing a snowboard rack on it? Hahahaha

I'm not really into that look to be honest. But its definetly interesting.
