MY BNR 18G 09 Spec.B

Thank you sir!

I have plans to put hood struts on, get some new summer hoops, and perhaps even a new set of wheels if I can find something worthy... But, we'll see. :)

Brakes are also in my future. Just about half way through my OEM's.

After doing some pipe work on mine (Up,DP and eventually exhaust) my next move is to reinforce the frame, add the whites like you did and hood struts. No plan for a new turbo yet but if I could get my hands on a twin scroll

I was surprised when I replaced my pads that the OEMs still had 1/3 of their pad left, I was hearing some squeaks and thought it was the pin signaling it's time to change. Still changed them out because I already had the Stoptechs. I love em! sure they dirty the rim a little but I hand wash my car once a week at least anyway.

Sweet car and build!!

After the couple of years since you did the build how many miles have you put on the car and how is she holding up? Ive been building up my car slowly and would love a 18g, is the BNR a TD06 housing?

Thank you.

I believe the 18g is the TD05... Its been about 2.5 years, but I don't drive it that often. Maybe 10-12k since the build. My buddy has almost the exact same building and he's put 25-30k on his. No major issues that im aware of with his car. He has been retuned however with a brushup.

You can have a td06 20g and get zillion miles out of it. A bit of luck, maintenance, driving style, and tune; all play huge roles in that outcome :)

Recent updates....

Well, this summer, stainless brake lines went on all four corners. This past weekend, we put on new Stoptech pads and rotors on all four corners.

Last week, I attempted to install a new Tociomoa Throttle Body hose (as my OEM was barely making the TMIC connection). I failed after 2 hours, and brought it to EFI. It took them about 2 hours, and was a major PITA. Anyway, that happened, along with a successful boost test. They also installed the Whiteline rear diff bushings I've had on my bench for nearly three years, and put a spring clamp on my T connection under the TMIC, which apparently holds much better than the zip tie that I had on there.

Also - got retuned at Bren in September... Still put down the same power as i had, at about 347-348 on their new dyno, which is actually an increase, since it's typically lower than the old one at Kaizen. Higher PSI this time around. But, it's still a garage queen :)

That's about it! I have the floor mat bracket from IAG to install. Next time I use the car, i'll throw that in!
