Clutch problem!!??

When you said timing belt problems, I related that with valve damage (like what usually happens).

 

You are corset in my case, like the lucky few, it jumped one tooth and there was no damage I actually drove around for a lil while not knowing it happened. But when I bought my subaru it had been in an accident and a toe hook from a truck went threw the timing cover and skipped timing just 2 teeth... Only one tooth more than my ej20g and here's what happened....

Idk not that bad really tho I prolly coulda just down a valve job and it prolly doesn't even need the hone cylinder walls look fine hahaha so glad it was only 1 tooth on the ej20g

Are you saying the cylinder walls look fine on those last pictures you just posted? If so, you're not looking very closely at them.

 

That was sarcasm sir as well as it just needs a valve job was also sarcasm that head and that block is toast and only worth scrap metal :-(

Ah, okay that makes much more sense now. It can be difficult to pick up on sarcasm over the internet sometimes.

Ok everyone settle down!!! No worries if it's the throw out bearing I know to replace ecerything, and I hope any service department would have enough integrity to tell a customer that, I have bigger problems know!! Remember phase 1 EJ22E 05 Legacy, so I'm home from work last night and it starting bucking real hard, ya know like it's not geting gas or spark. So I've had this provlem beforr, wouldn't start few weeks ago went to dealer new ECT sensor., ok problem went away...but not for long. It does this periodically, no rhyme or reason, not wet weather not cause it's daytime ya k.ow just happens. Once again the symtom: zero power, feel like no gas spark or duel, wasn't to bad till last night, would figjt and figjt for RPM's then vrooom off it goes. Last.night it died waited a few minutes.started up and off I wentmade it fi e miles and happen again, waited a few minutes and I made it home, please help. Heard from my brother who is a mechanic, that thouugh it not common but a fuel pump can die slowly, funny second time this happen last nigjt a guy pulled over to help had a outback uears ago saod the same thing, ok anyway tell me what ya think, thanks ahead of time
