spc2125
Why not? IIRC tinted tails are a panty-dropper. Just kidding, looks dumb! You can actually still see the tail lights though because it will go through the tint. I would use the VHT Nighshade. Ive done it before and it looks good on a silver car. NWSPECB
Please don't. This is becoming a weekly occurrence. Search tinted tail lights and read up about it before you get attacked.
I Donated thefultonhow Posted July 7, 2012 I Donated Share Posted July 7, 2012 You can actually still see the tail lights though because it will go through the tint. Yeah, but brake lights will just look like you have your lights on. Thus making it harder for people in back of you to realize you're applying your brakes, and increasing the chances of an accident. dr_sharp
Tinting tail lights makes it more difficult for these people to see you braking: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=texting+driver&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.,cf.osb&biw=1920&bih=965&wrapid=tlif134168784880110&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=Zoj4T5TRKqTE2gXtuMiGBw Don't fight stupidity with stupidity. lol

I Donated Too laff79 Posted July 8, 2012 I Donated Too Share Posted July 8, 2012 Please don't tint the tails - that isn't an obvious, obligatory, or close to correct mod. /rant close to correct? Who decides 'correct' mods? Please It's not safe. People will have trouble seeing your brake lights. false Yeah, but brake lights will just look like you have your lights on. Thus making it harder for people in back of you to realize you're applying your brakes, and increasing the chances of an accident. those people are blind and shouldn't be driving anyway Tinting tail lights makes it more difficult for these people to see you braking: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=texting+driver&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.,cf.osb&biw=1920&bih=965&wrapid=tlif134168784880110&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=Zoj4T5TRKqTE2gXtuMiGBw Don't fight stupidity with stupidity. So now we have to mod our cars according to retarded texters? Eff that. Tint the tails with 'smoked' overlays. Light transmission is excellent with those compared to the blacked out VHT's that attract police and rile up the Tint Gestapo here.

I Donated bucko3the7man Posted July 9, 2012 I Donated Share Posted July 9, 2012 Get a short shifter if the car doesn't have it already. Best mod for your buck IMO. If not that, then a bigger rear sway bar
spc2125
does it have to be a name brand downpipe? Or are there cheap ebay ones? Im willing to spend the money but if theres an alternative with pretty much the same thing, then why not? And after I get the downpipe, would an Infamous OTS tune be sufficient? mass-hole
I feel the opposite way about the short shifter. I would say do the shifter stay bushings and possibly the linkage bushings, then see if you still want the STS. I did both, but installed them on separate occasions and found that the biggest difference came from the bushings and how much more solid they made the shifter feel. You will save quite a bit of money if u dont do the STS. If I were to do it over again I probably wouldnt do the STS.
