Just got 36 sq ft of Dynamat in today. Gonna sound dampen the hatch this month, a very small job.

Gonna go pick up my 100sq ft of B-Quiet I have laying around at my dads house (was purchased for the Legacy GT).

Will do the rest of the car when the weather warms up.

I like the Forrey's, but not the "L", so I would probably have kept the LGT. "S" has the rear disc brakes, rear LSD, and cold weather package and a few other nice bits. But as long as you're happy, that's all that matters.

The lgt was nice but the previous owner swapped the 2.2l motor in it so it wouldnt climb any hills or get out of its own way... it wasnt the leather model nor a manual so i wasnt a fan... i paid $2500 for it with 130k and sold it for $3500 like 3months later... i needed a car with space for my newborn so the forester ending up bein my canidate.plus with the tall hatch was very convient with our ocawd meets and etc trips we go on....I settled for the "L" bc it was a friend of a friends car i paid $2300 with 120k so i thought it was a steaL needed nothing new transmission etc.

Gonna pick up some optimum no rinse from detailersdomain. If anyone wants any we can split a bulk pack to save a bit or if you want anything else to save on some shipping let me know. Must be local to Springfield / Fairfax VA. Will probably order tonight or tomorrow.

Ah okay, I was hoping you weren't using it to actually wash your car. More power to you sir.

I will likely use it to actually "wash" the car under certain weather conditions. I figure it should be fine for a hose-off outside, move it into the garage and then use the optimum no-rinse to actually clean the car.

I did bust out the two-bucket, least invasive hand wash today given the amazing weather, but that's simply not always an option. I'm not gonna use the no-rinse on a salted up car without at least hosing it off first, but I'll use it as advertised and it's definitely a cheaper clay bar lube.

Well the thing is, ONR will work great in any condition. The only catch is that you'd need quite a bit of ONR and quite a bit of MF towels to successfully achieve a swirl free waterless car wash, but I'm sure you know that judging by your response.

Well, don't you mix ONR in a bucket with water for washing? Seems like it would go a little ways with that method. And yes, I have two packs of microfibers from costco, so somewhere around 60 microfibers I guess...plenty enough that I keep the clean ones in a clean container and can just wash the dirty ones as needed to replenish.

Nice SF! I had one as well, a 99' L. It was my second subaru but first one I modded. Had goodies like some JDM lights and grill, sound system, springs, RSB, WRX front brake conversion, and a full aftermarket exhaust and CAI. Bought some Delta cams for it which I was going install and then tune it with a PP6, but I really wanted to get back in a legacy (and a turbo).

Well ehre is some news.

Adopted a new puppy. Was a rescue from a puppy mill that was just supposed to be a dog sitter. Owner has to leave town sometimes for months at a time. Needless to say they found her along with 3 other dogs in one cage with no food or water and unclean conditions.

Now she is with us and gaining energy. And though I normally do not like tiny dogs. This one has the best personality. Loves to cuddle and doesnt bark or shake.

Found out when the owner ended up want money to keep her that she is a pure bred AKC family line.

Haven't waxed it since summer.
