is your grammar special? i figured your superior intellect would be able to notice your own poor grammar.

Are you somehow trying to turn a non-existent accusation against me?

Pray tell, where is this atrocious grammar you're hinting at so aggressively?

And why are you so mad, dude?

If he isn't on duty' date=' he can't do squat.:spin:[/quote']

You are wrong about an off-duty cop not being able to do squat. The police are on "duty" 24/7 and they can in fact detain (or do an actual arrest depending on local regulations) of a person committing a crime. Most likely you will be detained until the uniformed police arrive and they will perform the actual arrest procedure.

I agree, I probably should have explained a little further. Minor traffic violations are pretty much a no-go when it comes to off duty cops. I had to be sure and I contacted a friend of mine with the PPD. If your driving down Delaware Ave popping off a few rounds you had better duck cause the off-duty cop will be shooting back at ya.

who gives a shit about grammar, if you understand what the person is trying to convey.

You'll kick yourself over this statement next time you see a job posting and one of the requirements is "great communication skills, both written and verbal".

Guyze? Shit broke. Server dawn nao.

How do you know OP had minor traffic violations? For all you know he may have been driving like a complete jackass at 100+ in a 25 school zone while it was snowing and he was drunk.

Fixt.

I hear ya, but a lil typo, on a forum with a lot of international/foreign people and all walks of life, you gotta have an open mind. Its a forum on the net its not that serious. I'm a computer engineer, and deal with tedious code and stupid people all day, no need to make posting so dramatic. Especially when your doing it to put someone down or make them feel inferior. If your going to bring work etiquette and skills into question then half this forum would be fired! This is not a job application, its people sharing information. When you start to ostracize people based on something so trivial its counter productive. Most real professionals have an on and off switch. No need for people to have ego trips and be so arrogant and obnoxious to others. My comment was not in general, it was pertaining to the situation at hand. Some of the most helpful. informed and credible people on this site have English as a second language and they still provide very good information even though its riddled with grammatical errors. I do not see people picking on them, but its OK to pick on the little guy. That is just lame and weak.
