  1. Westchester County, Conoco Gas Stations have E85. The one I go to is about 15 minutes from my house, but its on the way back from work, so its convenient. https://www.conoco.com/station-finder/ They are all over Southern NY it seems.
  2. It looks like the e85 ethanol content in my area is pretty high. Every time I top of the tank the percentage goes up, I'm up to 74% at the moment, hoping I can get it up to 80%. Pump says it can be as high as 83% can't remember the low end number.
  3. Is all that necessary? I never found power to be an issue.
  4. I want to buy some scales to corner balance my car but I'm not sure about whats out there. As usual I looked on amazon and found these scales and ramps, not sure if they are good, any thoughts? Google is a dumpster fire now a days so its hard to find the good stuff. Anyone know any good scales reasonable priced? 5. its a niche market it seems. I remember back in the day the Crutchfield filter had waaaay more options past 75w+ rms. I won't lie, new technology and cars have decent systems for the most basic cars and lots of new laws for noise pollution, its just a old trend now I guess.
  6. The market is probably very small now, society has won!
  7. It seems even JL audio has lost the big end https://www.jlaudio.com/collections/car-audio-speakers?_=pf&pf_t_size=diameter%3A6.5 inch&pf_t_type=type%3AComponent&pf_t_type_and_condition=true
  8. I like the pioneer 4 channel amp, so I am definitely keeping that. Main reason being it has the Speaker Level to RCA Input Adapter, which would allow me to get rid of that rats nest of wires and an adapter box that needs to be ground behind my radio, and has more power. I think I am going to get these, they are old but who cares, my speakers are 10 years old. KICKER 47KSS6704 https://www.amazon.com/Kicker-47KSS6704-Component-Speakers-KSS6704/dp/B084HLBMWF It looks like thats the older model of this. Kicker KSS670 https://www.crutchfield.com/p_20651KSS67/Kicker-KSS670.html?tp=106 I duno, I remember when they sold speakers with 150w+ rms at best buy, wtf did I miss? I haven't looked into car audio in over a decade.
  9. Alright, inspected! I forgot in NY you can still pass with one of the IM readiness things not ready! Back to audio! I think the highest components I am going to find are 125 or 150 watts rms. Not sure how well that will pair up with a 1000watt sub amp and 2 12" subs. Whos got suggestions, I don't want to spend more than 250-300 for a set, for both. I'm will to drop 600 on 4 (6 with tweeters) speakers. Ive been out of the audio game for a minute. TBH my current system is fine, but it can be louder lol.
  10. I'm scrambling to get my inspection done, expires today. Disconnecting the battery while troubleshooting cleared the ecu... so now I'm driving like a madman to get the thing ready. Takes forever for this O2 sensor, everything else is quick...
  11. I have the alpine sps-600c for the front doors and alpine sps-600 for the rear doors..... they suck, well not really, they just don't have the mid range I want, the highs are excellent. They are all 80 watt rms.
  12. I want a set of components for the front, with up to 200 watts rms each channel, but I can't find anything. Then I want a set of 2 or 3 way speakers for the rear doors with about 150 watts rms each channel. Would use the 4 channel 400 watt rms amp I just bought and bridge it for the front, then use my old 4 channel 300 watt rms for the rear doors. But these doors suck ass so not sure how many speakers can fit cause they need to be low profile. My subs can take the power of either of the sub amps I have. I have had these subs for like a decade, still going strong.
  13. I may return the sub amp and keep the speaker amp. I can't find any high rms speakers, whats happened to crutchfield, I only see 100w rms speakers.
  14. Cant remember but my speakers are like 80-100 rms each, subs are max 350 rms each
  15. Hello no, its just a reason to make my system louder, I have 300 and 400 watt bridgeable amps, so might as well get speakers that can handle more power, I need a a front component 200 watt rms per channel and a 3 way 150 watt rms for the rears.
  16. 900 dollars later..... guess I just need to get new speakers and bridge the two speaker amps lol.
  17. So I used an unused 4 gauge wire, ran it straight from battery, and nothing. Also, I disconnected the main line which is distributed to my fuel pump as well and the car wont start, so its power the fuel pump. The only difference here is the ground wire. Thats the only thing I can think of at this point, its not a power issue, gotta be a ground..... cross my fingers!
  18. No switches in between. Just checked the resistance and its .8 so theres no break I don't think.
  19. Looks like its not the amps. The new ones don't turn on either. Tried running a signal line directly from battery, still nothing. Changed the main 200 amp fuse, nothing. I don't know whats going on, anyone have any ideas? I hope I don't have to re run a new main 0/2 gauge wire. Cause the only thing I can think of is the wiring at this point. How can you test a wire?
  20. @famaya26 How close are you to an airport? I'm not familiar with TX, but I wouldn't mind going down there for a couple of days if its an interesting part of town. Otherwise I would just go and come right back, no hotel.
  21. They are available because OP won't ship anything, its pickup only. I was about to fly down to TX to grab them, if the ticket price was cheap enough lol. Not sure how close he is to the airport.
  22. I'm not very good with fixing boards and things of that nature, and I don't know where I would go to get them fixed. People/Shops that fix electronics seems to be a dying market. I'm right there with ya, I have a pile of old amps spanning like 20 years lol.
