Brady
These are nothing more than chops of the actual 2012 impreza. Seriously people. liek no wai! Unpossible!!!! http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2011/04/05-2012-subaru-impreza-sedan.jpg This is the internet ... a breeding ground for misplaced anger about hypothetical ideas and concepts. ehsnils
Come one now, I hope the WRX and the STI get HIDs and projector headlights. You can't get them without here, so I would say that you have a chance. http://www.subaru.se/ImageResize.axd?filename=/commonmedia/images/models/2011/impreza/topflash/exterior_equipment.jpg&width=900&height=285&crop=auto http://www.subaru.se/commonmedia/images/models/2011/impreza/exterior/equipment/hid_washer.jpg

GEE-OTTO
Subaru is lost post 2010 with the Legacy and post 2012 with the Impreza. They are clearly on a path to purge the like of US and attract the typical car buyer. That STi looks like an STI
SubieDriver
Lost to enthusiasts, maybe. Lost to mainstream buyers, definitely not. Sales keep increasing.
ShrinerMonkey
Catering to a small band of loyal enthusiasts is a sure fire way to end up like Saab.
Obsessotron
Catering to a small band of loyal enthusiasts is a sure fire way to end up like Saab. Yep, Subaru is doing all of the right things when it comes to growing market share and being sustainable. Plus, they will never completely abandon enthusiasts, Subaru built their brand on them. How many of us are realistically looking at another brand anyways? My next few cars will be Subies unless something drastic happens to the brand. ehsnils
Subaru is lost post 2010 with the Legacy and post 2012 with the Impreza. They are clearly on a path to purge the like of US and attract the typical car buyer. That STi looks like an STI To be realistic here - I think that what they did was rather to make a larger Legacy - the problem is that instead of presenting it as a new model they kept the name Legacy, but since it's considerably larger it's a completely different car. The next gen Impreza is getting the size of the 3th gen Legacy (essentially) while a new model called Trezia that seems to be about the same size as the earlier Impreza, but it's still different from the Impreza. So to avoid internal competition between the Trezia and the Impreza they needed to step up the Legacy and the Impreza. And I suspect that since the Legacy did grow quite a bit there were even less room left for the Tribeca. My next few cars will be Subies unless something drastic happens to the brand. I am realistically looking at other brands. There is nothing in the current Subaru stable that appeals to me. Even if Subaru sold the Legacy wagon in the US again I wouldn't buy it because it is ugly and doesn't handle as well as the old one. I am even considering returning to VW, a brand I vowed never to buy again after my terrible experience with them. Test drove a GTI w/DSG last weekend...loved it. Bolksey85
I kinda like it. The 2004-05 looked good, the 06/07 is my old favorite, the 2011 big flare style is nice. The 08/09 is butt ugly to me but that's my $.02. I'd like to see one in white with silver wheels.

DRoc7822
I actually like it... well at least the front end. The back end kind of reminds me of a chevy cruze mixed with the taillights of a 05 STI. It seems that just with the STI's that when I first see them, I hate them. Then later on down the line.. I start liking them alot. The newer legacy's on the other hand.. I will never like! EVER!! Shame what they did to them. Yet sadly.. I see more newer ones in town than I do of the 4th gens.
MJ in PA
How many of us are realistically looking at another brand anyways? My next few cars will be Subies unless something drastic happens to the brand. I'll be looking at a different brand. I like my 2007 Legacy, but I hate the new Subarus. I'd be more likely to get a Ford Fusion Sport AWD were my car to get totaled today (lack of folding mirrors notwithstanding ). Hopefully with a little luck my career will allow me to move upscale and get a luxury brand car (with the type of features once found on the Legacy GT before the recent de-contenting). rad.rac3r
I really wish theyd come out with a coupe again like in 1999/2000..that would be awesome. With the body shape if the latest sedan, it would sell like crazy.
MJ in PA
Have you joined the Ford Fusion forum to express your desire for future purchase? I have not. I'm curious to see what the next gen Mondeo-based Fusion looks like, but from sketches I've seen it looks like Ford may be jumping on that horrible exaggerated wheel arch theme that I hate so much. (I hated it on the new Mazdas, I hated it on the new Subarus, and I will hate it on the Fusion.) I've seen a couple of new BMW 5 Series on the road lately. That's got a really nice, clean, sleek profile! If only it were in my price range!

Brady
woah fugly lol but give it some time its just a concept they will come out something better in a couple weeks tops WHY?!!!! do people insist on calling this a concept? It's a photo-chop from an actual photo of a basic press photo from a standard Impreza.
