Sublimejoe
They arrive tomorrow, everything gets installed on Friday. Hoping that they fit without me needing to roll fenders or anything.

ch0232
That's awesome - seems to be sound our turbo'd OutBacks should have been making all a long. Putting this on my wish list of those things to buy. Sublimejoe
Plus, it is rather reasonably priced so you may be able to get it sooner than you think!
kongzilla
So, are they made to order or it was a one time deal for your car? Been waiting for 3.5 months for my avo cans from avoturboworld.
Sublimejoe
Made to order, it took about a month for my car but it was the very first set. Now he has a jig or whatever it is called so he can reproduce it. Everything is hand made to order though.
Sublimejoe
A real photo, after the settling. Definitely going to need the fenders rolled, very soon: http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6089/6113181566_d59b80b3e1_b.jpg More photos can be seen [ame=http://www.flickr.com/photos/docmonstereyes/sets/72157626891597001/with/6113181566/]2006 Subaru Outback XT Limited - a set on Flickr[/ame]. ch0232
Really like the wheels. I can see what you are talking about with having to roll the fenders. This package, with the LGT struts, takes up all the space in the wheel wells. If only the DOT made sure the roads were smooth and free of pot holes. One good pot hole and the fender lip could catch the tire. How are they for rubbing when turning - any rubbing on inside of wells? Sublimejoe
They don't rub at all during normal driving, but if I hit a bump or go around a turn too fast the tire hits the inside fender lip. Here is a photo: http://i.imgur.com/NxGkT.jpg The red circle shows the inside lip, which is covered with a removable rubber piece so its not terribly sharp. The blue arrow points to where it rubs. That lip could very easily be rolled or cut off entirely and (I think) the problem would be gone.
kongzilla
I don't think rolling our outback fenders will work. Since the flare is a plastic material that lays over the fender's lip. Your best bet is to camber the wheels more. Since our rear isn't adjustable, its best to get a kit to do it. But the car is mighty fine looking. Wheels are really nice too. How much did you pay for the exhuast again?
Sublimejoe
The part that the blue arrow is pointing too can definitely be rolled, or cut off. I would do it myself but the last time I did was on my Jeep and it doesnt really matter what it looked like: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_GlrnFQj5c]Cutting XJ Fenders - YouTube[/ame] Thank you for the kind words sir, I believe the retail price is $299 but I am not positive. BAC5.2
You can definitely roll that section out. Sublimejoe
You can definitely roll that section out. I am going to roll down to Mach V tomorrow and see about having them do it. Hopefully it isn't all that expensive.
