Suspension and alignment are done!

I hit the bumpstops over a big bump so I need to do something about that, but aside from that little issue it is perfect. Car looks a little lower in back because I had the stock suspension and a 40 pound pelican case full of photo gear in the back.

Your car looks a little higher than mine. Looks perfect!

If you search for my thread on installing my bilsteins, I posted the PN for the bump stops you need.

Thanks guys! I took a photo today of my car next to a stock Outback for comparison purposes:

I definitely need some saggy butt spacers in the rear, but I can't decide on which size to get. FastWRX is actually right around the corner from me so I may just go by there and see what they think.

I should have done the half inch. I have a 3/8 spacer and it's a little saggy still.

Yeah that is what I am thinking I will end up with anyway. I need to replace the bumpstops next week anyway so I will probably pick up the spacers on Tuesday.

Wow that looks great. I thought it would sit lower than that.

I agree. I looked back through the thread but didn't find if you said what you decided on for the suspension. My KYB GR-2's are scheduled to go in on Tuesday.

I think you need some saggy butt spacers too.

Thenice thing about the coilovers is I can get the back to sit just a tad higher than the front for that ever so slight raked look. I think that works best with the belt and roof lines of this car.

Moot point since Joe's question that started this has been at least partially accomplished on his car. I had all 4 corners done on mine today with the KYB and Rallitek setup. It's no Bilsteins with Ion springs but is noticeably better on corners. I provided the parts and a local shop did the install with alignment and tax for $403.

Nice! Mine isn't really better on corners but hopefully some sways and other suspension goodies will fix that.

Side note, I put my STRI Boost Gauge into a JSC cubby pod and now it is time to run all of the wires and such. Does anyone have a photo of where a good place to cut the vacuum line is?

Shitty photo of pod:

I did 1/2" on mine and if I were to do it again, I'd go 3/4"

I think the '04 shocks lower the rear end just slightly. Where do you add the spacers? How big a PITA are they to do?

Drove some more on my new suspension and it's definitely an improvement both in cornering and bumps.

My HID's on the other hand are a different story. I got one 6000k bulb and one 8000k bulb. The company is closed for the night but I am hoping they will fix the problem in the form of an overnighted 6000k bulb:

Please excuse shitty cell photos.

Right here circled in red?

Here's where my STI Tri-Gauge Boost Tap is located. As you can see, it's right off the BOV control line.
